lower brackets are CNC plasma cut and made of 3/16" steel.

1958-63 MG MIDGET & AUSTIN HEALEY SPRITE REAR

CARRERA TUBE SHOCK CONVERSION KIT - $205

This kit replaces the original rear lever shocks with Carrera chrome 3-way

adjustable shocks. All required hardware, brackets & bushing sleeves to install are

included. Using tube shocks greatly increases the ride quality over the lever shocks. The Carrera shocks should be

mounted on the second hole from the bottom on the brackets. The brackets are CNC

plasma cut and made of 3/16" steel.

Note for all Kits: Actual application or fit may require slight modification or trimming to fit. I cannot guarantee all parts will fit all years listed. The Monroe shocks have been modified and will show signs up close of where the dust cover and mounting sleeve were removed. This shock was designed to be used with a dust cover so keep in mind that by removing it, there is a slight possibility of shortened life since the shaft will be exposed to the elements now. I have not heard of any problems but I want to disclose all known information. If you have any problems long term please let me know

1958-61 AUSTIN HEALEY SPRITE FRONT TILTING HOOD KIT - $115

Using these brackets and hardware you can change the hood from a rear tilting setup

with very limited engine bay access to a front tilting setup with much better access. It

incorporates a sliding stop so no retaining cables are needed. This is for the brackets,

detailed instructions and all hardware. When you convert to the front tilting hood, you will

need a new hood hold-down.

1958-63 MG MIDGET & AUSTIN HEALEY SPRITE ADJUSTABLE

REAR SUSPENSION LINK TRAILING ARMS - $120

INCLUDES (8) ROD END SPACERS, (2) LINK ARMS AND (4) ROD ENDS WITH (4) JAM

NUTS. Using these 2 links arms you replace the original stamped steel non-adjustable

stock arms with DOM seamless steel tubing. DOM is extremely strong and used in many high-end applications such as rollcages and

high abuse 4-link suspension systems. When installing these new link arms make

sure to not overtighten the mounting bolt as the aluminum misalignment spacers can be deformed. These only work on cars with the

1/4 elliptical rear suspension.

TAPERED WHEEL BEARING CONVERSION KIT - $90

This kit includes the bearings, wheel seals and cotter pins to replace the stock original

front "ball-bearing" style wheel bearings with tapered roller bearings. These are direct

replacements for the Sprite and Midget. This kit may include Timken, National, Federal-Mogul, URB, Harwal or Motor City bearings

and seals.

1958-78 MG MIDGET & AUSTIN HEALEY SPRITE

FRONT ALUMINUM BRACKETS TO MOUNT WILWOOD 4 PISTON FRONT BRAKE CALIPERS - $150

These work with all Austin Healey Sprites (1958 to 1971) and all MG Midgets

(1961-1979). This auction is only for the (2) aluminum brackets and (1) parts list but I also can sell the full kit which is shown in

one of the pictures below (calipers & brake pads are not shown full parts picture). This is an upgrade to the current “big brake kit” that uses MGB calipers. If you currently have the “big brake kit” that uses the MGB calipers,

all you need is the new aluminum brackets in this auction plus calipers, brake pads and brake lines to install a 4-Piston aluminum

caliper compared to the cast 2-Piston MGB caliper. Most parts for the complete kit can

be bought from Summit Racing.
