1) Numerous Networking OpportunitiesEconomic & Public Policy Breakfast Forums: feature timely topics and important community speakersmonthly. Network with over 200 business leaders. Held the first Wednesday of every month. Make impor-tant business contacts.North Shore Business Leads GroupThis group becomes a networking environment where one can build relationships with other business profes-sionals - "Face-to-Face". During the leads group, other members will become familiar with your business andlearn how they can refer you to their own circle of contacts. Members can give a "2-minute commercial" abouttheir business and network with each other. Participants should bring 3 business cards for each of the 30 atten-dees. Word of mouth is the best and most effective means of advertising around.6-Minute Speed Networking: works in a similar nature to the already popular "speed dating" where attendeeshave the opportunity to quickly meet with a number of business professionals to see if there is a mutual con-nection. Attendees meet participants, one-on-one, for six minutes. Then they will move on to another 6-minute"mini-meeting" with the next person for up to 40 people.Young Professionals Network:The goal of this group is to provide a professional development program designed to engage and introduceyoung professionals to the North Shore's vast resources and opportunities. The YPN helps to improve its mem-bers' networking skills, expand their contact base, and provides the opportunity to promote themselves andtheir business with like-minded, ambitious peers.Professional Networking Receptions: Meet new and exciting people at business-card networking functions.Held at prominent North Shore locations with hors d’oeuvres and entertainment.
