The Bowling Green Hot Rods, the Class A affiliate of the American League East Champion Tampa Bay Rays, welcomed over 250,000 attendees to events at Bowl-ing Green Ballpark in 2010. The Hot Rods established a new franchise record as 235,412 fans attended games in the 2010 season, an average of 3,513 fans per date.

In addition to Hot Rods baseball, Bowling Green Ballpark was the site for community events including college and high school baseball games, charity soft-ball games, the WNKY Fall Premiere Party, the LifeSkills Run for Autism, and the Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society Telethon. In April, Bowling Green Ballpark also hosted the largest crowd ever for a col-lege baseball game in the Commonwealth of Kentucky when the Hilltoppers of Western Kentucky University defeated the University of Kentucky Wildcats, 24-8, before a crowd of 6,183.

The Hot Rods have built a reputation for providing affordable family fun in a comfortable, convenient set-ting. Each game is a new experience featuring tomor-row’s Major League stars and entertainment such as post-game fireworks, classic car shows, live pre-game concerts, mascots, kids activities, and awesome give-aways including t-shirts, caps, and bobbleheads. With features like state-of-the-art video boards, an open-air concourse and an awning which shades nearly half the ballpark, few stadiums can offer the experience fans enjoy at Bowling Green Ballpark. In fact, readers of the Daily News and The Amplifier have named Hot Rods games as the Best Place for a Date and Favorite Place for a Family Outing in 2010!

The Hot Rods are committed to building strong part-nerships in the community. Since January 2009, the Bowling Green Hot Rods have committed over $175,000 worth of goods, services and monetary do-nations to organizations and causes in South Central Kentucky. In 2010 alone, the Hot Rods staff and players have contributed over 1,400 volunteer hours to com-munity causes. Through programs like the Coca-Cola Most Improved Student Program and Axle’s Book Buddies and Fueled By Art, both presented by the Law Firm of Flora Templeton Stuart, the Hot Rods have mo-tivated students using its brand of fun.

The Hot Rods Entertainment Experience keeps the fans laughing and smiling all game long. Each game there is sure to be something different and unique. In addition to fan favorites such as Sumo Wrestling, Race-the-Mascot, Build-a-Burger, and the T-shirt Toss, your company can be incorporated into the action with a custom-designed, in-game pro-motion. These signs can provide your company with high visibility at every stadium event and allow your message to connect with fans for about three hours per Hot Rods game. Field-level placement ensures these signs also appear occasionally in TV news highlights and newspaper photos. With about 100 events annually, no other venue in South Central Kentucky can offer as much exposure.

Strategically placed to achieve high visibility, your company will receive tremendous exposure to the fans in attendance using signs along the first and third base fences. With field-level placement, these ad locations often appear in the background of newspaper photographs.

Your company can place its logo on one or both dugout tops for fans to see. Each dugout roof is used during games for promotions and special presentations. These spaces are especially visible to fans enjoying the games from the Stadium Club and Ballpark Suites.

As fans make their way around the ballpark, you can use a full-color concourse sign to attract their attention. Because these signs are viewed from just a few feet away, your message can be more de-tailed than other types of advertising. These signs are located in high-traffic areas and are visible during all stadium events.

Bowling Green Hot Rods Pocket Schedules are distributed throughout South Central Kentucky from April to August. Our Street Team dissemi-nates schedules to retail stores, banks, convenience stores, restaurants and our partners in the business community. In addition, Pocket Schedules are dis-tributed at community events, sent out in mailings, and distributed to fans at the stadium. Your ad can reach an audience of about 300,000 people in Bowling Green and neighboring communities.

Game Day Magazines are a cost-effective way to reach potential customers and show your support for the hometown team. Fans can pick up a free magazine at every home game as they enter the ballpark. COMMUNITY IMPACT PROGRAMSYour company can use its partnership with the Bowling Green Hot Rods to make a significant impact in the community.
