Our success would not be possible! 2013 NRHA Derby edition Richest Derby To Date The NRHA Derby Show is NRHA’s premiere event for the world’s best 4-, 5- and 6-year-old reining horses and hosts of two slates of ancillary classes. This year’s Derby finals were the richest ever, paying out approximately $948,000 to owners and nominators of open and non pro finalists. The 2013 stall count was 1,020 and entries were about 1,640 throughout the week. Also in attendance were the Interscholastic Equestrian Association teams to compete for their finals, which ran during the NRHA Derby. The finalists represented 33 teams from seven zones throughout the United States along with their families. A big thank you to those that took time out to participate during the NRHA Derby Non Pro and Open Award Ceremonies. NRHA had great compliments from Corporate Partners and NRHA Derby finalists. Each enjoyed meeting the other. We look forward to continuing this in the future. Richest Derby To Date The NRHA Derby Show is NRHA’s premiere event for the world’s best 4-, 5- and 6-year-old reining horses and hosts of two slates of ancillary classes. • SmartPak Derby Happy Hour(s) including the Piñatas

• Silver Spurs Equine 7 & Up Non Pro

• Platinum Performance Non Pro and Open Derby parties awarding finalist bridle bags

• NRHyA Anderson Bean Speaking Contest where each category winner from each age group was awarded a pair of Anderson Bean boots

• Boehringer Ingelheim passed out ice cream throughout the barns to cool off attendees

• Rios & Anderson Bean NRHA After Party where they gave away two pairs of boots

The week of the Derby was filled with lots of fun activities and events sponsored by our Corporate Partners!

• Markel Insurance Company drew a winner for Markel’s Equimedic Barn Safety Kit

• John Deere presented NRHA with a new Gator

• Throw outs during the NRHA Final’s nights were a great success in part to: SmartPak, Rios of Mercedes, Anderson Bean, Platinum Performance, John Deere, Downunder Horsemanship and Arenus
