    2013 TIGER SCOREBOARD

    Memphis Quick Hits Senior infielder Morgan Mosby leads the Tigers with a

    .308 batting average, a .403 slugging percentage, 49 hits and 20 RBI. Mosby is currently second in school history for career batting average with .312.

    Freshman infielder Cierra Mangum is leading the team over the last ten games with a .467 batting average while senior outfielder Lelani Bernardino is hitting .462.

    Sophomore RHP Jordan Richwood ranks 20th in the country with 9.0 strikeouts per seven innings. Richwood is second in Memphis history with 8.02 strikeouts per seven innings over her career.

    Bernardino is on a 12-game hitting streak, two games shy from tying the school record.

    Bernardino is second in the school record books with 163 hits, 70 walks and eight triples during her career. She is first in most times hit by pitch with 28. She has been hit by a pitch 14 times this season and had four triples, which are single-season records. She is also tied for second with 97 runs scored and 26 sacrifice hits in her career.

    Memphis vs East Carolina East Carolina leads the all-time series with Memphis,

    15-6. However, the teams are 3-3 in the last six meet-ings.

    Natalie Poole is 1-2 all-time against East Carolina. The Tigers are 4-2 against UCF over the last two sea-

    sons. Memphis fell twice to the Pirates in 2012 with 5-4

    and 4-3 (8) losses. In the series finale, Memphis picked up a 5-3 victory.

    The Tigers went 2-1 in Greenville in 2011, limiting the pirates to just one run in the first two games of the series. East Carolina posted a 5-1 win in the series finale to avoid the sweep.

    Scouting East Carolina East Carolina is 6-4 in its last 10 games and has to-

    taled a 9-15 record at home this season. The Pirates have a 4-1 record over the last five games

    after defeating Tulsa in the final game of the series and earning a sweep over Marshall. East Carolina fell 8-0 to No. 25 North Carolina in its midweek game on Wednesday.

    The Pirates have three players hitting over .300 at the plate with junior infielder Kristi Oshiro leading the team with a .361 batting average, 44 hits, 37 runs, 11 doubles and five triples in 43 games this season.

    Junior infielders Jordan Lewis and Alex Fieldhouse pace the Pirates with seven home runs apiece this season. Lewis is hitting .351 and has a team-high 12 stolen bases while Fieldhouse is batting .333 with a team-best 39 RBI and 11 doubles.

    In the circle, sophomore RHP Sarah Christian has thrown 155.0 innings this season for the Pirates. She leads the team with a 3.16 ERA and a 13-12 record. Christian has allowed 184 hits and 70 earned runs while striking out 94 batters.
