OuR VISION fOR 2013While UMass fans enjoy non-stop thrills and record-breaking performances, it is Minutemen Club members who help make it happen.

Each year, financial support from faithful Minutemen Club members helps our student-athletes achieve their peak performance both in the classroom and on the field. Donations to the Minutemen Club and our 16 sport-specific booster programs directly fund the future success of our athletics programs. Our vision for ensuring this future success is driven by three major goals, which are fundamental to the department and university’s core values: • Recruitingthebrightestandmosttalentedstudent-athletes • Investingintheconstructionofstate-of-the-artathletic and support facilities • Attractingandretainingthebestcoachesanddepartmental administrative staff The success of these initiatives requires a significant financial investment in UMass Athletics through the Minutemen Club from every dedicated member of Minutemen Nation. To meet these goals we are dedicated to growing membership and providing exceptional donor service.

There is a misconception that only major gifts make a difference; the truth is EVERY gift, no matter the size, makes a major impact on the ability of UMass Athletics to support each team and its student-athletes.

The Minutemen Club is a place where our most passionate and dedicated fans have the opportunity to stay closely connected with the programs they care about, and the student-athletes who proudly represent UMass in the classroom and in competition. Members are the first to know about season ticket renewals, bowl trips, tournament tickets, exclusive special events and more.

Join the Minutemen Club today and help us strive to achieve each of our goals; with your support UMass Athletics can and will rise to the next level!

“CoachJohnMicheletto,IceHockey- “Donor support through the Minutemen Club is the single most influential way an individual can impact the success of our program. Your dollars directly drive the competi-tive metabolism of our team and help propel us toward na-tional prominence. “

AnnuAl Gifts

TheMinutemenClubThe Minutemen Club has been an invaluable resource for the UMass Athletic Department since it was established in 1991. Originally started as the UMass Athletic Fund, the Minutemen Club has broadened its purpose to include programmatic support for student-athletes.  Annual gifts support all 21 varsity sports and more than 750 student-athletes.

Sport-SpecificBoosterGroupsIn addition to directing the Minutemen Club, the Athletic Development office also assists and coordinates fundraising efforts with our sport specific booster groups. These 16 booster programs allow funding to go towards travel, program enhancements and special projects that directly impact each sport program at an individual level. Each group has separate membership fees and benefit packages. As a donor to any of our sport-specific programs, your gift(s) will automatically qualify you as a member of the Minutemen Club. Please see Page 8-9 for more information on each of the 16 sport specific booster programs.
