De Fnd,

We are often asked by people what they can do to help the animals in our care.

I know at times they, perhaps like you, feel helpless, but there is something you can do right now to help.

By supporting the 2015 Holiday Catalogue and donating items or services for the animals in addition to providing gifts for your friends and family, you’ll make an immediate difference.

You’ll also have the satisfaction of knowing that your gift will keep working throughout the year as we care for all our animals who find themselves in need of a home in 2016. Gifts provided to animals through this catalog by people like you will make an incredible difference in the lives of homeless animals. From bottle feeding formula for newborn kittens to x-rays and casts for traumatically injured animals, your chosen gifts are a meaningful way to truly celebrate the spirit of giving.

I hope this holiday season you’ll give a gift that really matters.

In gratitude,

M So

Board President

P.S. Once we receive your order we'll send back to you a beautiful West Coast Dog and Cat Rescue card and envelope. This holiday card will list which item or service you have donated and in case you’re donating in someone’s honor, can be given or mailed to the person you are wishing to honor.

Provide a Forever Home by sponsoring the adoption fee of a homeless animal

The dream of every animal that comes to West Coast is a lasting and loving home. The Sponsored Adoption Program is one of the best methods to increase adoptions and

lifesaving efforts. The adoption fee at the WCDC offsets the costs for a number of critical services including spay/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping and care received while

they are with West Coast Dog and Cat Rescue. By paying for the adoption fee, you’ll feel great knowing that your support is immediately being put to work to find a homeless cat a

Donate Cat Nip and Toys and help keep our cats entertained

Used for centuries to lift the spirits of cats and keep them entertained, we use cat nip filled toys to help our felines overcome boredom and increase play while awaiting adoption. Your gift of cat nip will allow us to stock up on an item that is frequently in demand but low in supply. Plus you’ll make thousands of cats more joyful all throughout the year! The cats also enjoy feather toys, balls and laser lights.

Purchase a Spay/Neuter Surgery and reduce the number of unwanted animals in our community

The sad fact is that in our community there are unwanted animals. The simple solution is for people to spay and neuter their pets, but many don’t. We Spay and Neuter every cat in

our program. Last year that was nearly 600 cats.. Since 2007 we have spay/neutered nearly 2,000 animals. Your gift of a surgery will help ensure that the number of unwanted

cats in our city is reduced.

Sterilization Surgery for one animal: $50

Maintain Good Health by providing nutritional soft food

West Coast Dog and Cat Rescue is fortunate that all food for the cats in the catteries is provided free of charge by PetSmart, but food for the cats in foster care we must buy. By purchasing food for the cats in foster, you’ll be making sure they are happier, healthier and one step closer to finding a home.
