Quiet Time is a special time that you set aside each day to read God’s Word and get to know Him better. It is also an important part of Olympians, a fun Bible-centered

program for kids just like you in grades 1-6!CHALLENGERS (GRADES 1-2), CONQUERORS (GRADES 3-4), and

CHAMPIONS (GRADES 5-6). Just like Olympic athletes train to be the very best they can be, your Olympians coaches will help train you to be the best you can be for Jesus! The goal is to please Jesus in

everything we think, say, and do!

Here are some tips to help your child develop the spiritual habit of having a daily Quiet Time with God.

Setting aside a time each day to read God’s Word is the best way to grow as a Christian. Your Quiet Time will help you to know God better and learn how He wants you to live. God speaks to you through His Holy Word, the Bible; and you speak to God through prayer.

Your Quiet Time is divided into two sections.

Personal Prayer Diary A place for you to write your daily or weekly prayer requests with additional spaces to write answers to your prayers.

Quiet Time Activity Pages Each day has a Scripture passage for you to read with an activity to help you understand the truth from God’s Word. It also includes a personal challenge or application of the Scripture to your life.

All Word of Life Quiet Times use the same Scripture passages to help families share what they have

learned together.

David sinned and asked God to forgive him. (vv. 1-2) David also asked God to help him. Match the words on the left with the phrases on the right that tell how David needed God. (vv. 10-12)

Follow David’s example. After asking God to forgive you for your sin, ask Him to help you learn and change.

Have you used unkind words with someone this week? Ask God to forgive you and help you use kind words. Go to the person and ask for their forgiveness.
