2018 SUMMER DAY CAMPS AT THE Y

Bug LifeJune 4- 8Come explore the great outdoors from a bug's eye view! We'll be crawling, sliding, and hopping our way through a range of creepy crawly activities! From going on a bug hunt to winning a garden relay, we'll be tangled in a web of enriching and fascinating adventures all week long!

Superhero CarnivalJune 11-15Come one, come all, it's a carnival! Bring your superpowers and get ready for kryptonite relays, skyscraper hurdles, and more! Test your x-ray vision to find out what's in our mystery box and wow the crowd as you speed through our superhero obstacle course. Bring your costume and we'll supply the fun!

Hawaiian HooplaJune 18-22What better way to spend your week at camp than with a cool island vibe? We will be introducing campers to summer fun and games with our Aloha themed week. Discover all the amazing things that make the Hawaiian Islands unique while making tye dye shirts, erupting volcanoes, learning how to hula dance, and pineapple bowling.

ShipwreckedJune 25-29Oh no! We’ve been shipwrecked! What will it take to survive a week of being shipwrecked at the Y? Find out as we build our own boats, sing songs, decode a pirate's map, search for buried treasure, and more!

Discover AmericaJuly 2-6Discover the land we call home! We will celebrate everything red, white and blue, from hometown heroes to monuments across the nation – we have so much to learn and explore!

Under the SeaJuly 9-13Hold your breath for a fun week of learning about sharks, octopi and other unexplored depths of your imagination. Come splash round with your friends for a fun week in the sun!

Gold MineJuly 16-20Take a trip back in time to see the Gold Rush. With your trusty partner, look for the new frontier and make a map of the mines. What kind of machine are you going to make to get the gold out? Come along for the adventure.

Invention ConventionJuly 23-27Imaginations gain fuel and creativity soars at the YMCA Summer Day Camp! Campers are presented with hands-on activities that encourage creative problem solving skills, teamwork, creativity, and innovation. Campers will be inventing new games and designing the unthinkable with the environment around them.

International Secret AgentJuly 30-August 3Have you ever wanted to be a spy? Join us to learn how to read secret code, dust for fingerprints, find a perfect hiding spot, and make a secret agent badge. Help solve a mystery on Friday as we figure out who’s responsible for kidnapping the Camp Director. Bring your spy gear and be ready to find some clues!

Out of this WorldAugust 6-103, 2, 1…Blast off with us this week as we travel out of this world to explore the stars, planets, launch a rocket, try freeze dried food and make it back to Earth in time for dinner. Join us as we push the limits of gravity on Friday with a galaxy event. One small step for your camper, one giant leap for the summer.

GAME ON!August 13-17Come live out all your favorite board games, video games, and more in life size fun. This fantastic week will teach you new and classic games alike. Create your own games with your friends.

Mythical CreaturesAugust 20-24 Look out for giants, wizards, and elves! In the realm of mythical creatures, anything goes! Join us for fairy tales, dragon races, castle designing, wizard code cracking, and elf tag. We might even search out big foot!

Rolling Out the Red CarpetAugust 27-31Have you ever dreamed of having your own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? Lights, camera, action! This week we will explore Hollywood through set and costume design, and more! Let your star shine!
