Junior Theatre offers introductory to advanced one- to two-week day camps in voice, acting and dance, which then culminate in an end-of-camp presentation. To register for camps: Read each institution program description and choose what best fits your child’s interest and grade level. Make a list of back-up programs before you call to register, just in case your child’s first choice is sold out. Please contact each institution directly for camp registration. We regret we can not provide centralized registration. Please notify each institution if your child is participating in the full-day collaboration. Additional information, including camp descriptions and registration fees, can be found by visiting each website or calling each institution. Only institutions listed in this brochure are a part of the approved Summer Camp Collaborative.

Working from a track plan, campers will construct an operational, themed scale model, from track laying, ballasting, scenery construction, and circuitry. Campers will investigate and apply design principals, research unusual railroad cars, and learn why engineers use arches in the construction of railroad bridges. Scaffolded activities accommodate students of different ages.

Why is this a great deal for families?Lunch time supervision is provided by morning camp staff for children participating in two half-day camps (meals are not provided).
Morning camp staff will escort your child to the afternoon program at participating institutions.
This means you can drop your child off at the morning camp and pick your child up at the afternoon camp.
