WRITING 1:

WHEREVER YOU WILL GO

Saturday, 25th September, 2011

Yesterday she was going to show me a surprise for our first year anniversary. But I'm so

silly that I ruined our relation. It was her fault, she told me that Friday was her day off, and

she was going to go with her friends to a truly awesome concert in Miami, but she only

said that to me, because she wanted to surprise me. She was tattooing a charming tattoo

with my name on her arm.

I really don't mind that she has broken our photos, my clothes and many stuff because,

she will probably move to another house or threw me out from my own house, and sure

that she won't want to talk to me, and much less try to fix the problem. I shouldn't have

been with this girl in my house. I met her a few weeks ago when I went out with my

friends. At first I haven’t thought it could come so far but later it was her who made me

lose control.

When Kelly opened the door of our bedroom the only thing I thought was that I had

ruined my life in a second, she ran out of the house, crying and I could only feel guilty. The

girl who I cheated , left my house and I haven't returned to talk to her and probably she

won't come back. I don't even know her name.

Today I returned to our house to try to talk to her, but I reckon it will be impossible

because when I parked, I saw that she went hand in hand with someone who I don't

know, but I don't think it matters. When they left, I got of my car, and I left a note in her

mailbox. The note said " I will love you wherever you will go".

WRITING 2:

DESCRIBING A PICTURE

I took this photo during my holidays in Italy. It is Ponte Vecchio, in Florence, an amazing

bridge with a lot of jewerly shops that I loved it. There were many padlocks, wich couples

lock for their love ti last forever. But the thing It really caught my attention was that sun at

the end of the day that made this beautiful light.

I really like this picture because the light makes me feel peaceful and it was a very

interesting natural effect. I believe it’s amusing too because I did a heart with my hand.

It's a spontaneous photo, but I reckon that it's a good scene.

WRITING 3:

A NEWS STORY

This was the terrible scene on Monday, 3rd October, in the centre of Boston. One person

died and two more were injured when a car crashed into an office building.

The accident began at five o’clock, when everybody was working in the office. A grey car,

went out off the road and crashed into the principal wall of the build. Three of the

workers were trapped under the boke windows. At first, everybody ran frightened and

scared, but then one of them called the police and the medical services.

Then, police with the firemen arrived, but no one became calmer. The firemen lasted one

hour to rescue the people trapped, and when finally they could rescue them, they were

taken in an ambulance to the Boston Centre Hospital. One of the workers died and the

other two are still in hospital.

The driver of the car, wasn’t injured, and soon, there will be a trial, to decide if he will go

or not to jail.

Yesterday, there was a commemoration for the person died, and the journalists had some

interviews. One of the workers said to the press, “It was the worst experience in my life,

and I hope that nobody has to live something like this.”

WRITING 4:

1st to 4th ESO

These two photos are of me with different ages. The first one is from 1st of E.S.O, in 2008,

when I was eleven years old. And the second is actual, from this year, that I’ve just started

the last high school course.

I’ve changed a lot since 2008. When I was eleven, I was one of the smallest person in my

class, but now I think I’m like the rest of the people. Also, four years ago, I was shier and

less extroverted, but I’m the same person.

In 1st of E.S.O, I always wore plaits and my clothes were more childish, but now, I have

changed my style, I wear normal clothes, no little girl clothes, and my hairstyle is different.

I really don’t think that my results have changed a lot. Probably, four years ago, I studied

more, but I still have good marks in the school.

I think that my friends were still the same, like me, the only thing that is changed is that

we have grown up.

WRITING 5:

MY LIFE STORY

I was born in Barcelona on the 29th November of 1996. I went to the nursery and the three

first courses in Les Franqueses, where I lived for four years. When I was five, my family

moved to a new house. We have lived in Cànoves since 2001, and today we still live here.

I don’t remember the friends from my old school, and I haven’t met them since the day I

left the school, I also don’t remember the house I lived, but I was so little when I moved to

my actual house . I can remember the first day in the new school I went, I was so nervous

because I was a shy girl, but quickly I had some good friends, who today, still go with me in

the high school.

I went to the Estelada school in Cànoves for six years, and then, three years ago I studied

my classes in my high school in Cardedeu, I go every day by a bus because Cànoves

doesen’t have high school. This year is my last year in IES Pla Marcell and the next year,

I’m going to go to Baxillerat.

5. I really like the idea of swimming in the Caribean sea.

6. I would like to go to the MTV movie awards.

7. I want to study in London or UK.

8. I would like to help people in a NGO.

9. I really like to have a pair of Laboutin shoes and Louis Vuitton and Chanel bags.

10. I’ve always wanted to see Oscar’s red carpet and photocall.

11. I will never want to swim with sharks.

WRITING 1: AN INVITATION

Hi Clare!

Well, you know that 17th July is my birthday and I’m going to have a great party for my 17’s . Of

course, you are invited. The party will be in my house, in the swimming pool, so if you want to

have an amazing night is important that you get the swimsuit in your bag. At 5.30 the party will

start and won’t end till the next morning. During the evening we are going to watch some movies,

and then at 10 o’clock, we’ll have dinner. Then at 12 o’clock, the rally party starts, I bought some

CD’s and we can dance, sing, swim, whatever we like. If you are tired, you go to sleep but the party

won’t stop until the morning.

I hope you can come, I also invited Megan, Sue, Gwen and Lisa. This party will be a huge party.

WRITING 2: BROCHURE ABOUT CANOVES

Cànoves and Samalús is a little village in Valles Oriental, near to cardedeu.

The village has 2,500 unhabitants, who live in the centre and in the difent areas, ca l’esmandia, El

Mirador and Les Faldes.

It’s a beautiful village with a lot of natural areas and rivers. There is the Montseny’s natural park,

where you can do some grat activities like visiting the huge tree El Castanyer de Can Cuch, or

having a trip through the forest to visit the Vallforner’s lake.

After a hard-trips day, you can have the dinner and sleep in the wonderful hotel Can Cuch, a new

luxury hotel in town.

Maybe you can’t go shopping, but Cànoves is a perfect place to have a relaxed weekend, and

escape from the city’s stress.

WRITING 3: SCHOOL’S MAGAZINE NEWS

That was a fantastic surprise, the students of 2nd year in our high school may become famous.

And why? Because they made a drama play called “A Million Kites in the Blue Sky”. This play is

about a girl that falls in love with a blind boy. And how they try together to make his dream come

true: to be a famous actor in the theater.

The students made their first appearance of the play at the CECUCA’s center, in Cardedeu. The

entry was free for the other students and their families and cost 3 euros for the other people. 109

people came to the first show.

We hope that this play will make them popular, and who knows, maybe one day, we will see the

play in Broadway, starring famous actors.

WRITING 4: AN E-MAIl

Dear Mum and Dad,

Here, in New York the days are cold, but this city is so amazing. When I took the plane I was a little

bit nervous but when I saw the “big city” in front of me I felt so happy. Thank you for the present!

Yesterday when Susanne and I arrived in the city, we decided to visit central park. It’s the most

incredible park I have never seen. People have trips around the park, while they eat hot dogs and

talk about football, news and their own lives.

Today, we are going to visit the city and maybe we will see famous buildings like Chrysler’s

building and Empire State. Then, if we are hungry, we are going to a famous restaurant or may buy

some food and have a coffee at a Starbucks coffee shop.

I hope you receive tis post card. I’m also sending some nice pictures from central park.

WRITING 5: MY FAVOURITE SPORT

Good morning Lisa,

These days, with the snow falling in the streets, we don’t want to do sport, but ski is the perfect

cold-day sport.

I love the ski, I don’t know if you ever practiced this sport in your country but here, there are some

good ski stations. In Spain the ski-stations only open in winter because in summer there isn’t any

snow. I usually go three or four days, every year. Last year I went with my family to Port del

Comte’s station. I didn’t ski since I was a little girl, I have practiced this sport for 5 years ago, but I

reckon I’m good at this sport.

I hope that one day, I will can go with you to a ski-station and have a good days practicing this

great sport.

WRITING 7: A GOOD BOOK

Hi Chrisina,

As you know, I’m a big fan of reading and I want to tell you about one good book I read.

The book is called Ruby Red. It’s written by Kerstin Gier, a German writer. The book is a science

fiction story, and it’s for the teenager public.

The book is about a girl called Gwen that one day realizes that she have the power that supousted

had his cousin Charlotte. This power has the possibility of going back in time. When Gwen enters

on the sect that moves all this power, she meets a boy named Gideon. She quickly falls in love,

knowing that is not good for her.

I want to recommend this book to you and to everybody who likes reading. It’s a great book that

traps you from the first page.

WRITING 8: MEDITERRANEAN DIET

Today, a healthy diet is an important factor in a healthy life. Each country has its own diet, with its

own popular food. Maybe, the American’s fast food it’s not a good example of a good diet, but

there are other types of diets in the world.

A good example is the Spanish diet, or what it’s the same, the Mediterranean diet. I think, that’s a

really good diet because here, we eat a lot of vegetables, meat (fish and white meat), pasta, bread

and we always cook with oil. It’s important to eat also, 5 pieces of fruit and do some exercise, (in

Spain, with the sun, it’s a good idea.) .

In sum up, if you want to have a healthy diet and also good weather, you can visit Spain and enjoy

our culture, our diet and our people.

WRITING 9: VALLÉS ORIENTAL TURISM INFORMATION

Vallés Oriental is a beautiful area from Barcelona, Catalonia. If you want to have a great stay in

Catalonia, you may go here.

If you want to visit natural zones, you can go to Montseny’s natural park and have a trip through

the amazing forest, don’t matter when you come, the forests are beautiful.

If you want to have some shopping, La Roca Village is the perfect place. A lot of shops like Versace,

Custo Barcelona, Miss Sixty, … with outlet prices all year.

Vallés Oriental is also perfect to

the people who wants culture and things to do. There is the Montmeló Catalonia’s Circuit, where

during the year, have F1 races or motorcycle races. There is also a lot of cinemas and disco’s.

To sleep and eat, you can find luxury or normal hotels and a lot of good restaurants with the

Catalonia’s typical food.
