One year later, in 1966 he was named to the Brazilian national team and traveled to England as the youngest player ever to go to a world cup. Four years later, Edu was a member of Brazil’s 1970 world cup championship squad in Mexico. Edu’s third and final world cup appearance with Brazil was in 1974 in Germany, where Brazil finished fourth in the tournament. Edu was a teammate of the great Pele with Santos F C for thirteen years. Together they were one of the most feared duos in the game, and scored over 1500 goals combined. Many of the goals that Pele scored over the years were assisted by Edu, and vice versa. Teo, Certified Coach, Has played professional soccer for 20 years, former player from São Paulo (Brazil), Santos (Brazil), Dallas Tornado (USA) and was a teammate of Pele in the past. Ten tournament first places in U.S. such as: Irving Classic Soccer, 14th Annual Houston Labor Day Cup, Coca-Cola Classic League, Rockets Pre-Thanksgiving Tournament (U-12), Coca-Cola Expo Cup Florida Youth Soccer, Coca-Cola International Classic Pensacola, North Texas Soccer State Cup, CAYSA Classic Invitational, North America Memorial Day Cup, and Flamefest XI. asdrty
