    But stop worrying about getting rich, learn to speak a foreign language or snoga stranger, and youll find yourself on the path to life-long wellbeing.

    Researchers surveyed 2,000 adults aged 18 to 65 to compile the list of 50 essentials for a fulfilled life.

    The top answer was that we needed to stop worrying about getting more money.

    Other responses ranged from finding true love to losing weight.

    Some are a bit more achievable than others.

    Most of us are delighted if we can manage one holiday a year rather than the tworecommended, while paying off all our debts may be a far-off dream.

    Yet the findings of the survey reveal experiences and a loving family make us happier than material possessions like a big house or a flash car.

    The poll was commissioned to mark the release of Oscar-winning film Life of Pi on Blu-ray and DVD.

    A spokesman said: The research is really interesting because much of the top 50 list focuses on experiences and achievements rather than having more material possessions.

    "Thats exactly what the term living life to the full means.

    On average we only manage to tick eight things off the list and just 23% of us t

    hink we get the most out of life.
