    Description of use

Microfiltration is worldwide used to clean process water, waste water or to concentrate a flow with particles. These microfiltration units (MFU) are designed for an electro chemical machining (ECM) factory to separate metal hydroxides out of a saline solution with 20-25 m3/hr. By this filtration step it is possible to reuse the process water continuously. The quality of the reused process water is very high with a particle content below ppm level. The units can be used in a pH range of 2-12 at a capacity of 20-25 m3/hr or 2 separate systems of 10-12m3/hr.

The field of use for these used units are:

electrolyte regeneration of an ECM process

    regeneration of galvanic process water

general process/ waste water treatment to remove particles (solids) for upgrade or reuse

For your specific application you can always contact ECM Technologies

    Description of microfiltration

Microfiltration is based on the separation of particles and liquid by exclusion by pressure and pore size of the membrane. The particles are retained by the membrane and are concentrated in the circulation loop. The liquid is transported through the membrane by a pressure drop.

The automatic, stand alone running microfiltration unit (MFU) is equipped with a turbidity measurement to control a constant concentration of particles in the loop. An automatic back flush prevents blocking of the pores of the membranes and an automatic chemical cleaning program guarantees the continuous purified liquid flow.
