    Questions?Patrick LanniganVP MarketingStrategic Information TechnologyJanuary 27, 2010patrickl@stratinfotech.com

*Hello! My name is Patrick Lannigan and Im Vp of Marketing for SIT Strategic Information Technology.

Fab Toni, our Progress Rep in Toronto invited myself and Stephen down to this kick off to share some integration success stories with you and to show you how were exploiting our integration capabilities to grow our business.*Small banking software company located in big town of Stouffville. Tallest building which is four stories.SIT began in 1988 with these gentlemen. From left to right we have Stephen Leeming, Sam Ilaqua, and Rob Leeming. The Leeming brothers had an extensive programming background and wanted to start a banking software company. But they didnt have the rolodex. Thats where Sam Ilaqua came in. Sam Ilaqua was a retired banking looking for a new project. A neighbour introduced Sam to Rob and Stephen and thats how SIT was born.

Anybody who knows me knows Im not a big fan of corporate bonding games. These are games are supposed to help you develop trust in each other and get to know each other a bit better.

For me there is no better way to get to know someone or a company than to work with them through a crisis. Thats when you get to know someones character. You get to know how prepared they are, how adaptable they are, etc. In 2008 SIT went through a big test of character.I want to turn the clock to October 2008.That was pretty scary. Some called it a financial meltdown. And it shook the foundations of Wall StreetAnd Americans learned some new Words like:Collateralized Debt ObligationsAsset Backed Commercial PaperAnd Liquidity CrisisWe saw many of our competitors business dry up.Why?Its hard to sell to a bank or a loan company if they dont have the liquidity to carry on the business of making loans. What we had on our hands was a full bore liquidity crisis. However, at SIT, we like to say WE HAVE AN APP FOR THATIts called PORTFOLIO PLUSTogether these gentlemen created our flagship product, Portfolio Plus.*Here a simple graphical representation of Portfolio Plus. At the bottom we have the Progress Software Architecture or Open Edge. Then above that we have the core banking modules Loans, Investments, Term Deposits, Retail and Accounting. Then on top of that
