It’s finally almost summertimeand that means lots and lots ofweddings. I personally loveweddings. After having married offthree children, whenever I go to awedding, I can now appreciate theamount of time, effort, and work thatgoes into making a wedding. It’s areal special day and everybody wantsto make sure that things come out justright.

At every wedding, people trytheir hardest to be sure that their appearance is absolutelyperfect, particularly the bride and groom. Parents, siblings, uncles, aunts, cousins, and grandparents and everyone in thewedding party are all trying to look their very best. The picturesthat are taken on that day are going to last a lifetime and wewant to remember that occasion with all the specialness that itdeserves. The gowns will be perfectly fitted and the tuxedoswill be looking just fine, but what about your smile? Is yoursmile good enough where you will be able to give a great bigbroad smile showing a lot of teeth? Or are you ashamed ofyour smile and you will be barely smiling in these foreverpictures? It’s not only the wedding pictures, but what aboutpictures that are taken of you every single day? Those picturesalso last a lifetime.

Weddings – A Reason To Smile…Many people are going

to remember you by the lookof your smile. I remembersomeone once telling me thatthey had a wonderful auntwho was always rememberedas being an unhappy personbecause she never smiled inany of the family pictures. She found out later in life thatit was because the aunt wasembarrassed of her smile.Imagine that – she could havebeen the happiest person onearth, but nobody knew itbecause she was afraid tosmile.

It’s time to really dosomething about your smileso that you can tell the worldhow happy you are everydayand particularly on thosespecial occasions likeweddings. We’ve lots ofways to help you get abrilliant smile – teethwhitening is a great way tobrighten all those teeth in a

short period of time.Lumineers, the best and mostconservative way to doporcelain veneers, and thenewest addition to getting agreat smile is the Snap onSmile. With only having totake an impression of yourteeth, this removable, beautiful smile snaps on overyour existing teeth for thosespecial occasions andwhenever you want a greatlooking smile. Many timespeople will want to try on aSnap on Smile before they dopermanent Lumineers to getan idea of what their teeth canlook like.

No matter which wayyou would like, it’s possibleto have that great big smileready for this summer. Callus today at 440-892-1810 fora free consultation for any ofyour dental needs or even fora second opinion. We’re hereto make you smile!

Over time we have seenthat following the herd whenit comes to investing can be avery dangerous proposition. While the herd’s record hasbeen less than scintillatingover the course of time, investors still remain temptedto follow along. investments - an investmentthat many felt could never godown. Of course, now weknow that real estate does notalways appreciate, and

sometimes prices can falldrastically.

So, where was the herdmost recently spotted? Afteran extremely difficult marketin 2008, individuals pouredhuge sums of money into bond

investments in 2009 and 2010,despite historically low yields. While bond funds arecommonly thought to be “safeinvestments,” there may be alack of understating betweenthe relationship of risinginterest rates and the fallingvalue of bonds.

In simple terms, the valueof a bond will fall in value asinterest rates rise. Forexample, let’s assume you pay$1000 for a 10-year treasurybond yielding 3%. The yieldto maturity is 3%. Now let’sassume the next day rates for anewly issued 10-year treasurybond increase to 5%. You cannow pay $1000 for a 5%treasury with a yield tomaturity of 5%. Obviously, you will not be able to sell the3% treasury for $1000 if ratesgo up to 5%. In order for the3% bond to trade to anequivalent 5% yield tomaturity, the price of the bondwill fall. Under this scenario, using a bond yield calculator, you can determine that your3% treasury bond would droproughly 15% to about $850.This fall is even morepronounced for longer-termbonds.

Over the last 30 yearswe’ve been in what manymarket technicians would calla bond bull market. We haveseen 30-year Treasury yieldsdecline from 12% to 4%. Nowwith rates not far from an all-time low, and interest rateswidely expected to driftupwards, we have investorsstill flocking to bonds. Buyinghigh with the herd and sellinglow is a self-defeating trap thatcan wreak havoc on investmentgoals.

While I believe bonds canhave their place in a portfolioor 401(k), I suggest you talkto an advisor about how yourbond investments may fare inan increasing rateenvironment.
