“Ultrasound is a great way to image

children; it is readily available, involves

no ionizing radiation, and can provide

excellent resolution images of small

patients. Yet many technologists and

physicians feel some discomfort with

pediatric studies, as they are infrequent

and differ from the common adult exams.

This course aims to make those pediatric

ultrasound exams more familiar.”
