A Report On “Startup talk” organized by

“Smartens”

"The primary characteristic of an entrepreneur of the future should be a deep sense of responsibility to humanity.”

Entrepreneurship and innovation are increasingly important in all areas of business and government. Entrepreneurial start-ups galvanize the economy by identifying new opportunities and redirecting resources to them. Established firms innovate in order to outmaneuver or respond to their competition.

Start-ups:

A business concept or idea involving a product, service, process, or new technology People to support the work, whether as employees, vendors, or advisors A process by which the product or service will be delivered, or the technology will be

developed Enough money to support the development of the idea to the point that it generates

revenue.

You build a product based on your idea, you start a business to sell your product, your business succeeds—or, more likely, it fails—and you start all over again, looking for a new idea. Lately, however, a new formula has begun to take hold, one that challenges the very idea of how a business should be built. It plays out quite differently: you start a business, your business experiments with lots of ideas, many ideas fail but some succeed, you turn these ideas into new businesses, and the formula repeats on its own. Or at least, you hope it will.

As a college student, money often comes first. This necessity will often activate the thought and the need to find a job. However, in today’s times, a student gets much more possibilities than working a simple job.

Finding a need or opportunity in the market and filling it is at the core of entrepreneurship and small business success. That doesn’t mean that starting a business similar to one already in existence can’t be successful.

In considering what kind of business to start, assess:
