For maximum coverage, A8 antenna should have 5 - 10m clearance
over surrounding buildings
Antenna downtilt may not be required in sub-urban area

Wrap weather-proof tape around RF connectors to prevent
corrosion and water ingress

Connectors
1Prepare the materials1. All-weather, self-amalgamating tape or
butyl rubber tape2. All-weather, black plastic electrical tape
2Wrap rubber tape around the base of A8 RF ports
4Wrap a 2nd layer of tape with Rubber Tape
3Wrap a 1st layer of tape with Electrical Tape
6Wrap the antenna end with the 3 layers of tape as above
IMPORTANT: The installer MUST follow the instructions to prevent
water leakage
5Wrap a 3rd layer of tape with Electrical Tape (for enhanced UV
protection)
Wrap Butyl Rubber Strip in a Clockwise Direction
3M Scotch Super 88 Vinyl Electrical Tape
3M Scotch 130C Linerless Rubber Splicing Tape
Wrapping Direction

DONT install the A8 near other radio systems such as WiMax, GSM,
3G The distance between the A8 and other radio systems should be: -
>100m if any antenna faces other systems - >20m if no antenna
