• The Combat Survivor Evader Locator (CSEL) nonrechargeable and rechargeable batteries support the Combat Survivor Evader Locator Radio.

• The CSEL Radio is utilized across the Department of Defense.

• Usage of the CSEL batteries is across all combat personnel of all services to transmit secure, digital GPS-derived location information and both keyed-in and scanned messages.

• This capability will allow rescue forces to receive the message from anywhere in the world via over-the-horizon communication satellites.

17Program / Project Overview: SINCGARS Cable Assemblies & Wiring HarnessesThis contract will consist of three (3) various Cable Assemblies / Branched Wiring Harnesses, which are components of either the Interconnecting Group ON-373B/GRC or the Accessory Kit, AVIM, GRM-122. This will be competitive, SB set-aside.



The ON-373B/GRC is an interconnecting group used in conjunction with Radio Test Set AN/GRM-122 to provide the direct maintenance for Ground SINCGARS Line-Replaceable Units. ON-373B/GRC consists of various RF cables, branched wiring harnesses, toolkits, anti-static table runner, grounding straps and power supply.

The Accessory Kit, AVIM, GRM-122 is an accessory kit used in conjunction with Radio Test Set AN/GRM-122 to test and troubleshoot the Airborne SINCGARS radio set components. This accessory kit consists of various RF cables, branched wiring harnesses, alignment tool, and various wrenches.

The rotary volume control is positioned for easy access for either thumb or finger operation. It includes a built-in 2.5mm phone jack and an audio jack. This handset is used with a vast number of radios in the Army Fleet.
