Electric locks ABLOY® EL512, EL513 with double action bolt.

The locks are used i.e. in the exterior doors of apartment buildings and interiordoors of business premises. Please note that EL513 is always recommended to beinstalled with inside thumbturn.

The locks include a special double action bolt for quick and easy use and offer acost-effective way of electric locking that is highly advantageous in comparison toi.e. electric strike. The locks can be controlled by a vartiety of electrical impulsegenerating equipment, i.e. card reader, keypad and timer. The locks can be connectedto automatic swing door operators and is very suitable for use in access controlsystems.

Also available: EL512DA and EL513DA with symmetrical trigger bolt for use inswinging doors.

DIMENSIONS

ABLOY® EL512 is fail locked type and ABLOY® EL513 a fail unlocked type lock withspecial double action bolt for wooden doors. EL512: Door can be opened bypushing or pulling when eletric control is switched on. When electric control isswitched off, lock can be operated by key or thumbturn only. EL513: Door can beopened by pushing or pulling when eletric control is switched off. When electriccontrol is switched on, lock can be operated by key or thumbturn only.

Lock is always automatically deadlocked when door closes. Lock cases are equippedwith an integral microswitch to indicate unlocked/locked position.

Note: EL512 and EL513 are not recommended for use in doors with seal force. Inswinging doors the lock may be locked only when the door is in the closed position.The locks can not be used in fire rated door.
