University of Aberdeen accommodation is split between the Old Aberdeen campus and the Hillhead site. There is a wide choice of accommodation available; from catered standard and en-suite to self catering flats. All Halls benefit from 24/7 on-site assistance from the Hall Management team and the Student Resident Assistant team as well as contents insurance and all utility bills included in the price. Wireless Internet access is provided in all rooms. Crombie Hall These are catered halls with single study bedrooms, some with en-suite. Residents are housed in 12 standard rooms on each corridor, all of which have single beds. Each corridor has a small communal kitchen area, showers and toilets. Kitchens come supplied with a microwave, toaster and kettle but as these are catered accommodation there is no cooker - so you don’t need pots and pans. If you want snacks then you should take your own crockery. Johnston Hall These are catered halls. Residents are housed in a four-storey block, each floor corridor containing 6 - 12 single study rooms, all of which have single beds and wash hand basins. Each corridor has a small communal kitchen, showers and toilets. Kitchens come supplied with a microwave, toaster and kettle but as these are catered accommodation there is no cooker - so you don’t need pots and pans. If you want snacks then you should take your own crockery. King’s Hall These are self catered flats. There are 5 bedrooms, single beds, with a central kitchen area. The flats are in a self contained block. King’s Hall is adjacent to Crombie Hall with all rooms having en-suite facilities. These are normally reserved for Post Graduates or mature Under Graduates. Elphinstone Road Flats Elphinstone Road Flats are flatted Halls which consists of 120 single study bedrooms, all with wash hand basins in rooms, shared kitchen with small table and shared shower room. The Elphinstone Road flats are shared with 3-5 residents. Hillhead is set above Seaton Park on a pleasantly landscaped site, a 20 minute walk to the main campus. Accommodation blocks are located around the site with the main focal point being the Central Building which has a number of facilities inside. With a range of accommodation to suit every budget, the student village is all self catered accommodation across nine different properties.

Adam Smith House, Wavell House and Fyfe HouseAdam Smith, Fyfe and Wavell are all similar styles. Refurbished during summer 2010, residents are housed in corridor style with wash hand basins in all rooms. Each floor contains on average 38 single study room with single beds. Each corridor has a small communal keypad entry kitchen area with lockable cupboards and shared showers and toilets.

Esslemont House, Keith House and Hector Boece Court All similar styles, these are self catering flats for 6 persons with single beds and shared kitched and bathroom facilities. Kitchens come supplied with a microwave, cooker, fridge freezers and kettle. Esslemont House will be refurbished in 2012.

North Court Flats for 4-5 persons, single study bedrooms with wash hand basin in room, shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. These are normally reserved for post graduates or mature undergraduates.

South House Flats for 5-7 persons, single study bedrooms with wash hand basin, shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.

New Carnegie CourtThe property offers ensuite rooms in 5 bedroom flats, all with 3/4 size beds. Each kitchen/living room has good storage and two fridge freezer units. This property is Unite managed - but your contract will be with the University.
