WELCOME

Welcome to Term 4!

Hasn’t the final term of the year come around quickly? I hope you have achieved any learning goals you may have set for yourself this year. If not, it’s not too late! You can still take one of our accredited, nationally recognised qualifications (page 11) to kick start your dream career in 2015.

Do you live in Queensland? If so, do you know you could be eligible to receive funding to cover the cost of an accredited, nationally recognised qualification? We are offering potential funding opportunities from certificate II to diploma level in:

• Business• Aged Care• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Arts• Disability• Community Services Work.

Give us a call to see if you are eligible and to find out more: 07 5520 3026.

As well as nationally recognised accredited qualifications we also deliver short courses for work to enable you or your staff to upskill and be more efficient in the workplace; from Computer Basics and an Introduction to Tablets and Smartphones (page 4) to industry compliance courses such as Electrical Tagging and Testing (page 6) and Apply First Aid (page 8).

I would like to thank all those who responded to our recent 2014 Satisfaction Survey. We received a fantastic response from you and we are delighted to learn that 90% of respondents rated ACE Community Colleges as Excellent or Very Good. The survey has also highlighted areas where we can improve. As part of our commitment to continual improvement in the quality and delivery of our courses, the survey results will feed directly in to our strategic planning for the coming year.

If you have any questions, please do give us a call on: 07 5520 3026 or email us: [email protected]

“My mother and I recently completed a Certificate III in Aged Care and a Certificate III in Home and Community Care. We’d love to say a big thanks to our wonderful tutors, class mates and the entire staff at ACE Community Colleges. Throughout the course we found everyone helpful, friendly, patient and understanding. The majority of our class was multicultural and the class and teachers supported us right to the very end. Also, what made the experience all the more enjoyable was the pleasant studying environment, with all the resources and support you could ask for. We would both recommend ACE Community Colleges to absolutely anyone and everyone!” (See Certificate III courses on page 14).
