    Acorn Pattern.I finished another beige bunny today and had some yarn left over. I did a little yarninventory and found I have a lot of scrap yarn in beige and brown colors. I guess browndoesn't make as cute a flower headband as pink does. So I decided to turn that yarn intocrocheted acorns. I also wrote down the pattern so you could make your own.Mine came out a lot bigger than real oak acorns. To get a realistic size, you should usefingering weight yarn and a ,!" # $ mm crochet hook.

    Skills required%rocheting in round, single crochet stitch, chain stitch, magic ring, increasing , invisibledecreasing , finishing a closed piece , finishing an open piece & (,fastening and hiding yarntails.

Abbreviations# mr, n 5 magic ring # crochet n single crochet stitches into the ad6ustable loop.# sc 5 single crochet stitch# sc n 5 make n single crochet stitches, one in each stitch# inc 5 increase 7 make two single crochet stitches in to the same stitch# dec 5 decrease 7 crochet two stitches together# &sc $, inc( 8 9 5 repeat the pattern between brackets si8 times# &$ ( 5 number of stitches in a round after finishing said round Notes# /o not 6oin at the end of each round, work in a continuous spiral.# +se a stitch marker or a piece of yarn to mark the end or the beginning of a round.
