Reducing the size of the motor pump whilst maintaining high performance produces a high-pressure washer that is both easy to move and to store. The extending handle and large-diameter wheels give great mobility around the home whilst the lower handle is useful for lifting when storing or transporting in a car.

Gutters, pipes and drains

It makes sense to clean your drains and gutters once a year in order to prevent blockages. For low-level gutters it is easy to remove moss and leaves that may have built up using the 90° nozzle. Standing on firm ground, position the nozzle so the jet pushes the debris down the gutter to a point where it can be removed. Be careful not to spray the leaves or dirt into the downpipe. For drains and downpipes use the 10 metre drain cleaner accessory. Attach directly onto the gun and place the cleaning nozzle end at the opening of the drain or downpipe. Press the trigger and feed the hose along or up the pipe. The nozzle is designed so the water jet propels the hose along the pipe whilst the nozzle tip helps break down debris deposits. With the trigger on, pull the hose back and repeat the process several times until all the debris is removed.

Car cleaningBird droppings, mud, pollen, insects or dust will all spoil the look of your car and can even affect the paintwork. To clean your car, first remove all the loose dirt with a fan jet nozzle, taking care to avoid the tyre valves. Keep a distance of at least 20 cm between nozzle and surface in order to avoid damaging your paintwork.Next, attach the high-pressure foam nozzle and apply detergent all over the vehicle. Then, either using a soft wash brush, or if you prefer a cloth, loosen any remaining dirt. Finally rinse off the dirty residue leaving the paintwork clean. Wipe dry with a cloth as desired. Cleaning surfacesCleaning larger patio and driveway areas is quicker and easier with a patio cleaner. Bosch patio cleaners are designed to glide with the cleaning nozzles close to the surface providing effective cleaning performance with the minimum of effort. When cleaning, move the patio cleaner slowly back and forward keep-ing the cleaning head parallel to the surface, letting it do the work. The brush around the edge of the patio cleaner is to keep the user dry and is not for scrubbing as the powerful jets will remove most dirt. Take care when cleaning wooden decking or old concrete surfaces to ensure that the patio cleaner is not damaging the surface. In these cases, consider using a fan jet nozzle as an alternative. The roto nozzle is ideal for cleaning concrete and stone surfaces such as steps and paths and for removing ingrained dirt. Operate with the jet at a 45° angle, moving progressively over the surface.
