More than a fifth of Western Australia’s population will be over the age of 60 by 2021. The ageing population presents an opportunity for organisations to connect with and be seen to support this growing sector of the community.

Align your brand with a trusted organisation: COTA (WA) and Living Longer Living Stronger are known, trusted and respected brands with high recognition amongst this growing demographic.

Be part of the shift to wellness: Older people are the fastest growing segment of fitness industry customers and there is increasing recognition of the importance of physical activity as an effective way to improve health and wellbeing in later life.

Leverage and network with like-minded organisations: COTA (WA) has 200 organisational members and Living Longer Living Stronger delivers 60 services around Western Australia. Our Mall Walking service operates in several major metropolitan shopping centres. Linking with this network provides a unique opportunity for your organisation.

Nationally known, locally recognised: There is a COTA in every State and Territory, each focusing on local seniors’ issues and concerns. Our national member magazine, OneCOTA brings it all together.

Our Active Ageing programs are currently not funded by the State or Federal Government. We are currently seeking partner organisations with whom we can develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships. Our Sponsorship Opportunities are listed in detail on the following pages.

Having participated in the Living Longer Living Stronger program for 9 years I can testify to the benefits I have experienced as a result of the twice weekly sessions. The program allows participants to progress at their own pace and adjust weights to suit capabilities. One of the great benefits of Living Longer Living Stronger is the social interaction between participants and this goes a long way to assisting the mental well being of all of us.
