Adventure Island is a four day adventure discovering the skills necessary to become successful in middle school. Adventure Island will be held August 21–August 24, 2017 from 9:00 a.m.-12 noon at Boulan Park Middle School. This course is intended to enhance the transition into middle school for incoming sixth grade students. Through activities, games and teamwork, members of this course will be engaged in learning how to use valuable life lessons. Lessons and skills such as organization, time management, and collaboration will be explored. Each day will focus on one of the following themes: organization, respect, responsibility, and safety; with a culminating activity and awards ceremony.
