i. Councilor Enrico D. Salcedo reported about the conduct of law enforcement activities in the City, condemning the tragic shooting incident on April 18, 2015 and stressing the need to review the rules of engagement thereof, in aid of legislation, among other things.

Action taken: The report was referred to the Committee on Police, Fire and Public Safety for

appropriate action, inviting for the purpose, the COCPO, CIDG, PDEA, Highway Patrol Group and other PNP units.

ii. Councilor President D. Elipe, in the second part of his series of reports regarding the financial

statements of the City, highlights the different figures reflected in various documents prepared by the Executive Department insofar as the surplus income of Cagayan de Oro for CY 2013 is concerned, per documents submitted to the Sanggunian, the Department of Budget and Management and the Commission on Audit, among other things.

Action taken: The Body adopted Resolution Nos. 12026-2015 and 12027-2015.

iii. Councilor Ramon G. Tabor reported that the TRO issued by RTC-Branch 25 on CILRAI

demolition has expired and he appealed to his colleagues to pass a resolution requesting the court to extend the Temporary Restraining Order considering that the city government has not yet relocated the affected residents.

Action taken: The Body adopted Resolution No. 12025-2015.

AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING THE LAND USE OF LOT NO. 22226, CAD 369-D (20484-B, CSD-10-003509) UNDER TITLE NO. T-187702, WITH AN AREA OF 40,868 SQUARE METERS, OWNED BY MS. ELIZABETH M. BASONG, LOCATED IN BARANGAY BAYANGA, THIS CITY, FROM AGRICULTURAL TO RESIDENTIAL, WITH ATTACHED ENDORSEMENT FROM THE CITY PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICE THAT THE DISTANCE FROM MACAHAMBUS CAVE TO THE SUBJECT PROPERTY IS 740-METER (ROAD LENGTH) AND 500-METER (LINEAR)

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council (Sangguniang Panlungsod) of the City of Cagayan de Oro in session assembled that:

SECTION 1. - The land use of Lot No. 22226, CAD 369-d (20484-B, CSD-10-003509) under Title No. T-

187702, with an area of 40,868 square meters, owned by Ms. Elizabeth M. Basong, located in Barangay Bayanga, this City, is hereby reclassified from agricultural to residential, with attached endorsement from the City Planning and Development Office that the distance from Macahambus Cave to the subject property is 740-meter (road length) and 500-meter (linear).

SECTION 2. - This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval. UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.
