Getting Started Setting up your MyConnect Account Visit MyConnect > My Account

Make sure you have uploaded your photo and verify your contact information.

Your website will use the following from MyConnect:

1. Your photo 2. Display name or team name 3. Preferred phone number 4. Email address 5. Social Networking links

How to Purchase a Website Visit MyConnect > Marketing > Agent Website

Clicking the Agent Website tile will take you to the Site Templates page of the Website Builder. If you do not have an active website you will see two buttons at the top of the page: Purchase Classic and Purchase Platinum. Click one to choose your package.

A new window will open with a secure page to enter your billing information.

After entering your billing information click Subscribe. If the payment is successful you will be taken to the order summary page.

Click Launch Web Builder to begin customizing your website.

Classic Website Builder Instructions Site Templates Choose the layout and color scheme for your homepage.

Click View Larger Image to preview a layout.

Select the template you like and click Save Website Template. You can change templates at any time.

Homepage Editor Photo Slideshow Choose three photos for your homepage. Select from the BHHSCP Photo Library or upload your own custom photos, or a combination of both.

To select from the BHHSCP Photo Library:

- Click Add Photo - Click the BHHS Photo Library tab - Hover your mouse cursor over a photo you like and click to add it to your slideshow - You will be returned to the Photo Show screen

To add your own custom photo:

- Click Add Photo - Click Choose File to open a window to the files on your computer - Select the file and click Open

Note: Images must be 1920 x 710 pixels

This will return you to the Custom Photos screen and you will see the filename(s) of the photo(s) you selected next to the Choose File button.

Click Upload to add your photo to the slideshow.

Featured Listings Choose up to 12 listings to feature on your homepage. You can choose to display only your listings, display only office listings (up to 12 and potentially including your own), or add any listing by MLS number.

Custom HTML Content You can customize content for your homepage, such as a bio or a video of yourself. If you already have existing custom HTML content from your previous BHHSCP website it will carry over to your new website.

Custom HTML will appear above the footer of your website.

Homepage Settings In this section you can toggle Homepage modules on and off.

My Content Pages You can create new pages for your website, such as:

- Your bio - Information about your local communities including school districts, golf, shopping, etc. - Information about your business niches such as foreclosures, first time homebuyers, interior

design, equestrian properties, etc.

If you have existing content pages from your previous BHHSCP website they will carry over to your new website.

How to add a new content page:

• Click Add New Page • Select a category for the new page

o The category reflects which top navigation item your new page will appear under o If you select “None” then the page will be live, but inaccessible to anyone who does not

have a link to the page. • Enter the page name (example: Local Schools)

o This will be the page name in the left hand navigation o This will also be the URL for the page with hyphens replacing spaces

• Enter the Page Title (this will appear at the top of the page) • (Optional) Describe the page in 150 or fewer characters. • Add your content to the HTML editor box

o NOTE: For security, the session will time out after two hours. Be sure to click Save often or write your content in Microsoft Word and then copy/paste it in to the editor

• When you are done click Save and Close • You will be returned to the “My Content Pages” list • You will have the option to preview your page or publish it

o NOTE: Your page will not be live until you click the Publish Changes link

Settings Manage your billing information, change your website package, add your Google Analytics tracking ID, and manage your default property search map settings.

General Settings This page shows your current website plan and has a link to upgrade to the Platinum website plan.

Website URL This is your current website URL. If you would to request a change contact [email protected]. If you would like a custom domain then you will need to purchase one from a domain name registrar (example: https://www.godaddy.com). Once you purchase a domain name your registrar can help you redirect it to your website.

Google Analytics Our websites support Google Analytics tracking via tracking ID. Click here for steps to find your tracking ID: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1008080#trackingID

Hide My Listings link in top navigation If you have active or pending listings we will automatically create a page for them and a link to it in your top navigation links. If you do not wish to display this page, check the checkbox and click Save.

Facebook Pixel Our agent websites support Facebook Pixel code snippets for use with Facebook Advertising campaigns. Send your code snippet to [email protected] to add it to your website. For more information about the Facebook pixel see https://www.facebook.com/business/a/facebook-pixel.

Listing Search Criteria Set the default settings for your property search page here. You can specify city, zip codes, price range and home type as well as the sorting order (high to low, newest on market, etc.)

Activate Your Website Click Activate My Website at the top of the page

Generating Leads Drive traffic to your website to generate leads. Every property inquiry on your website will be sent directly to you and will appear in MyConnect under Contact / Leads.
