AGM 2011 ECO CLASS PROPOSALS:

Proposer: Gerald PageSecond: John Wilkins.

Proposal: Eco Touring Class.

As discussed at length an eco-touring class as per BRCA rules re LiPo voltage chassis dimensions, etc. but with the followingspecifics.

Motors: 15t FIREBOLT brushed or 17.5 brushless motor & blink esc from the BRCA list.

Bodyshells: Any shell that is NOT on the BRCA list. Road going replicas, gt, etc. NO 4 door jelly moulds.

Tyres: Fast0079 W or C white wheel or chrome force majeure may be used in time of shortage of the chosen control tyre toallow any treaded tyre under £12 set of 4 or £6 pair gluedNo slicks.

Juniors New Comers: I would ask for some leeway with the noobs. Let them run as is to allow them time to get equipmentsorted out.

Reverse Grid: Second final to be of straight reverse grid from qualifying order.

No Tyre Warmers No Additive.

1. Brushed and Brushless combos are allowed to run in same class where by:

2. Brushed ECO Motor/ESC Rule:

i. Brushed motor will be the HPI Firebolt 15T sealed can motor.(We can allow lower power motors like the kit Tamiya silver cans and we may spot check it with an inductance meter)ii. Any Brushed Electronic Speed Control may be used.

3. Brushless Eco Motor/ESC Rule:i. HobbyWing COMBO-JS5 (Justock ESC and HW17.5T motor)ii. Speed Passion SP000053 - CIRTIX SENSOR ESC COMBO 17.5T ULTRA SPORTSMAN V3.0

In addition:i. The 2011-2012 Winter Series will be the interim / migration period that will temporarily allow blinky ESC to be used with themotor listed in the combo list, which are:

HobbyWing XERUN 17.5T motorSpeedPassion Ultra Sportsman V3.0

Summer Series 2012 the ECO class will hopefully be successful with everyone running the above combos to promote fairest on-road racing in the UK
