A little agricultural description of Castellón

• Castellón is a province of Valencian Community, surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea, with high mountains.

• Castellón has a warm climate that allows cultivate, a lot of different kinds of fruits and vegetables.

• The most important agricultural crops in Castellón are:– Olives and almonds in the

mountains– Citrus fruits in the coast

• Marcona almond is cultivated in whole highest part of the province.

• It is an ingredient used in a lot of different traditional meals and desserts.
