He served as the first convener or presider and then the next year as the first presi- dent of this American Association of Public Health Dentists. He also played a key role in the early years of this publication as an early editor of the Bulletin of the Associa- tion, a mimeographed 8 1/2 x 11 quarterly which he shepherded from 1950 to 1959.
