Where we are today

• Integrated DoD/VA jointly staffed MTF

• Air Force Hospital– VA runs the ICU

• 3 MDG Executive Committee includes VA representation

• One standard of care• 3 MDG ER is preferred

provider for Anchorage veterans

Progress to Date

• DoD/VA Budget & Financial Management Demonstration Site– Joint Venture Business Office

• CT/MRI Joint Incentive Fund– VA cost savings/avoidance of $1.6M per year

• Central Sterile Supply Joint Incentive Fund– Adds VA staff; new DoD sterilizers

• Physical Therapy Joint Incentive Fund– Adds VA staff, shares inpatient workload
