To create our own artwork for our digipak we looked at other artwork for albums and also singles in our genre to take ideas from. The artwork is the first thing the customer sees when approaching the product to buy it. We therefore thought it was highly important to look at other artwork in order to influence our own ideas.

After researching these digipaks and also others from the genre certain things became apparent on many album covers and digipaks such as the featuring of the band name of the front cover however one of Paramore's album covers does not feature the name, but as the band are instantly recognizable anyway due to mainly Hayley Williams and her extravagant appearance. As we are creating a band from scratch and our star will not be known we will have to include the name of our band on the front so people know what they are purchasing.
