Having established Alexander James in 1995 from mydining room table, and naming it after my (then) newlyborn son, it is with great pride and satisfaction that I havewitnessed the company grow to become a team of over100 interior designers and associates as it is today.

The Alexander James Group of Companies providesinterior and architectural design services, bespokekitchen, bedroom and fitted furniture solutions, audiovisual technology and flooring services to propertydevelopers, private clients and hotel groups around theworld. This could not have been achieved without thehard work, creative passion and support of my loyalcolleagues, many of whom are still with the businesstoday.

Over the years we have been fortunate enough to workwith some of the UK’s leading property developersproviding award winning show home interiors andfurnishing solutions. Our client base now extends to over60 house builders including Millgate, Berkeley Homes,Octagon Developments, Luxlo, St. James, Linden Homes,McLaren Property, Lendlease, Countryside, Lusso, CrestNicholson, Chase New Homes, Willmott Dixon, Antler andBarratt Homes.

Our private client team delivers a seamless and highlypersonalised service whilst creating beautiful interiors forprivate individuals. Our goal is to help each clientmaximise the full potential of their home, introducingbespoke designs which are tailored to their individualrequirements.

The latest addition to our group, Alexander JamesInternational, was originally formed from a group ofleading hotel interior and architectural designers, and theteam have worked with many of the world’s leading hotelgroups across the globe with recent projects including theMercure in Edinburgh, Hilton in Minsk, Belarus andYerevan, Armenia and the Crowne Plaza in Bucharest.Other clients include residential care group HadrianHealthcare and hotel groups Intercontinental andMarriott. The team also provides a full residentialarchitectural interior design and specification service forboth new-build and renovation projects.

Alexander James has received much recognition in theproperty industry. We recently found success at the UKProperty Awards, winning the award for Best InteriorDesign of a Private Residence. Our scheme for the ChartRidge development in Oxted also helped Millgate winGold in the Best Interior Design category at the prestigiousWhat House? Awards. The showhome we designed forWestmark Polska's development "Ventana" has also beenawarded a Golden Villa Statue - the main prize with a titleof Best Showhome of the Year.

Alexander James are proud to have been featured bymany publications and television programmes, including25 Beautiful Homes, Showhouse, The Sunday Times andChannel 4’s From House to Home, though for mehowever, our biggest accolade was to be featured in theAndrew Martin Top 100 International Interior DesignersYearbook for a second time.

Alexander James Interiors incorporates Futurehome who can supplythe very latest in media distribution and home control systems.Futurehome provide technology for new homes as well as careful andsensitive installations in existing properties.
