| Expert adviceHow to choose a BASE h’elcom profile?

• Consider robustiveness

All our BASE profile lines are built from square profiles with an external dimension of 20, 30, 40, 40, 44, 45, 50 or 60 mm. This rating is the modular dimension. Each face of this square is crossed by a groove.

| EXcelcom

The profiles of the BASE 5 line are ideal for small applications. BASE 5 means that the groove measures 5mm. This type of groove is most often used for structures that support light loads. BASE 5 will be very commonly used in conjunction with other types of profiles to save on the material costs of a complex structure while meeting project requirements. This line of very compact profiles guarantees total functionality at a reduced weight.

| BOfit | EXcelcom

Choose BASE 6 in perfect intermodularity with an environment of 6mm groove profiles. You will benefit from a line with great structural strength, available in light and heavy versions depending on the weight of the parts supported by the assembly. BASE 6 is used for modular, mechanically assembled solutions whose specifications require a light yet robust structure.

BASE 8 is probably the most common basic design for all extruded aluminium solution projects. Robust, very solid, this 8mm groove line is the most popular, it is also the one with the most compatible accessories and components, which makes it perfectly adapted to all applications.

| BOfit

BASE 10 profiles in section 45 are recommended for applications with high loads. They are robust and highly suitable for structures such as work tables, machine frames, transport trolleys, protective cabins and heavy handling systems. This groove offers high strength joints.

| FABfit

BASE 11 profiles are ideal for building FLEX conveyor structures, especially in the packaging and packaging industries. This 11mm groove line is available in lightweight version only.

• Consider load capacity

All fasteners, or connections, accessories, are fixed to these grooves. The size of these grooves (5, 6, 8, 8, 10, 11 mm) and their load capacity increases with the modular size.

• Consider additional traffic

The central hole allows the BASE to be fixed on their front face, or to allow compressed air to circulate.

• Consider lightness and budget

If material is removed from the inside of the BASE profile structure, it becomes lighter (your budget too).

It is in fact the standard that guarantees the most important robustness. Heavy BASE profiles are recommended for linear guide applications.

This is the most common option that offers an optimized compromise between robustness, tolerance and lightness. Super lightweight, therefore economical in terms of material, eco BASE are the reference choice for small budgets.

• Consider work environment

Finally, our BASE profiles adapt to the constraints of your environment by offering closed surfaces, easier to clean, and more inaccessible to dust, water, and dirt of all kinds.

Used as a mounting surface or connecting element, these profiles will allow you to build reinforcement, support elements or frames.

Elegantly connects up to 3 profiles, allowing a neat design for your display cases and tables applications.

These profiles serve as joint cover and support for the shelf trays.

Available in several colours, they have a groove cover function, or can be used to hold panels.

This type of profile allows a groove to be closed at a later date and the cables to be hidden in it.

Perfect for building protection and characterization covers, chassis, this is the option that offers a slightly more elegant design with its rounded surface and closed on both sides.

When working on a construction site with modular aluminium profile structures, it is often necessary to retrofit a bar into an existing chassis. But this operation must be carried out quickly with a minimum of operation to avoid wasting time.

The traditional method would involve machining, specific tools, and a dismantling / reassembly phase with the risk of damaging the equipment and losing parts.

This FIXE E (EXcelcom) and B (BOfit) h’elcom quick fastener does not require any specific tools to add a bar to a chassis. The fixing is done by needle screw in one groove and by screw plus quarter turn nut in the opposite groove.

We provide it in a complete kit ready to assemble.

With the quick fixing without h’elcom machining : it is impossible to lose parts or let a component escape in the event of an intervention.

Have you ever heard of this safety accessory, mandatory in Germany to avoid the risk of a fence or net dislodging from its frame because of a support in the center of its surface?

The metal fence clamp h’elcom, allows to mechanically connect a fence / net and its frame in aluminium profile.

This is a security solution, which therefore carries a code starting with SAFE - for all your characterization or machine protection solutions!

Simple and clever, it can be mounted without tools

in a single screwing operation, thanks to its kit packaging ready to be assembled with a simple set of Allen wrenches.

Multicompatible, it can be mounted on 8 and 10 BOfit, 8 EXcelcom or 8 NOstress groove profiles and can be adapted to all meshes./ thread diameters from 3 to 5mm. Finally this component is 4 times cheaper than the solution you are used to using.

Some doors need to be kept closed. There are many locks to close doors. But in the world of aluminium profiles, it is necessary to keep the possibility of changing the structure and therefore the position of the locks.

The SAFE H lock (SAFE because its function is to secure your industrial subassembly, H because it is a multimodular accessory), does not require drilling the profile to be installed. We use nuts adapted to the groove of each type of profile 30, 40, 45, 50, so there is no machining to be done and changing position is possible at any time without effort.

The front mounting holes are sealed and cannot be removed as long as the SAFE H compact flap lock is locked.

This lock adapts to different profile sections, so you will benefit from a harmonised design on all your structures, a perfect uniformity of your machines, without changing the habits of your operators or your customers if you are an integrator.

Its symmetrical shape and integrated handle make it a robust and reliable accessory. It can be used on all types of doors: hinged doors, double hinged doors, sliding doors. It will integrate perfectly into your environment.

Simple, modular, economical and ergonomic.This range fits perfectly into your offices. Standard stations available in 1 depth and 3 widths, i.e. 3 sizes. The work table can be equipped with a rear frame and a a magnetic whiteboard.
