We also held a few services done by our Chaplain Steven in memorial for those who have passed away, and a communion service as well. We also enjoyed seeing “Shrek” at Jenison High School, dinner and lunch ride outs, and taking another Wii bowling victory against the folks at Aurora Ponds. Outdoor StrollsSpring is here! Take

advantage of milder weather andgo for a walk in the fresh air. Arecent large-scale study by theUniversity of Michigan reportedreduced stress levels in peoplewho walked outside with agroup. Researchers believe thatthe combination of exercise, nature and social interactionserves as a powerful moodenhancer. People facing stressfullife events, such as an illness, experienced the biggest boost;however, going on regularoutdoor walks may contribute toan improved sense of well-being,even when you’re feeling fine.

ATTITUDE Adjustments That RaiseGod Honoring Expectations

ADJUST YOUR PERSPECTIVE.

Once there was a woman whoseside window overlooked thebackyard of her neighbor’s house. Each day, the woman would lookout the window and complain howher neighbor’s laundry never lookedclean. She often commented onwhat a bad housekeeper herneighbor was. One day, she noticedthat her neighbor’s laundry lookedmuch better: colors brighter andwhites whiter. The womancommented to her husband, “Abouttime our neighbor got her laundryright.” The woman’s husbandresponded, “Our neighbor’s laundryis the same—I just cleaned ourwindows!”

In the Bible, a man named Gideonhad a conversation with God thatwent as follows: “Pardon me, mylord,” Gideon replied, “but how can Isave Israel? My clan is the weakest inManasseh, and I am the least in myfamily.” The Lord answered, “I will bewith you...” Judges 6:15, 16

When our perspective changesfrom “can’t happen” to “God is withyou,” we come to an understandingthat ANYTHING can happen.

What battle has God promised tofight with you?
