     Do  you  have  an  iPhone  full  of  photos  as  well  as  CDs  and  hard  drives  full  of  photos,  none  of  which  are  printed?    If  you’re  nodding  your  head  yes,  I’m  here  to  change  that.

  AKP  is  a  full  service  boutique  photography  business.    My  goal  is  to  make  sure  you  not  only  have  an  amazing  session  that  leaves  you  with  fun  memories  but  also  to  provide  you  with  heirloom  quali-ty  prints  and  products  that  will  last  a  lifetime.    

  No  more  files  hidden  away  in  drawers  for  no  one  to  see.    About  two  weeks  after  your  session  you’ll  have  your  Session  Premiere  Night  where  you’ll  get  to  see  all  of  your  images  for  the  first  time.  That  night  we’ll  work  to  create  beautiful  products  to  showcase  your  entire  session.    From  wall  art  to  image  boxes  to  albums-AKP  has  a  full  range  of  products  to  meet  all  of  your  needs!

    I’m  guessing  that  right  now  you’re  saying  “But  I  want  the  digital  files!”.    Don’t  worry  I  completely  understand  where  you’re  coming  from.    I  value  digital  files  as  much  as  you  do  (otherwise  I  wouldn’t  have  a  stack  of  hard  drives  filled  with  my  own  memories!).    AKP  offers  collections  that  in-clude  digital  files  along  with  the  quality  products  for  your  family  to  enjoy.    You’ll  get  the  best  of  both  worlds  AND  get  them  for  a  lower  price  when  they’re  combined  in  a  collection.    Doesn’t  get  much  better  than  that!

   Are  you  dreading  planning  your  session?    Are  you  dreading  trying  to  get  all  those  kiddos  to  smile?

Surprise!  Your  session  is  going  to  be  fun!!I  know  how  you  feel!    It’s  easy  to  get  overwhelmed  with  the  planning  of  the  outfits,  choosing  the  perfect  loca-

tion  and  keeping  everyone  happy  long  enough  to  at  least  look  happy  in  the  photos.    It’s  a  good  thing  for  you  that  I  will  help  you  with  all  of  these  things!

  Here  are  a  few  tips  as  we  begin  to  plan  your  session.    Remember  that  I’m  here  with  you  through  the  whole  thing  so  be  sure  to  relax  and  let  things  flow!

    -Think  about  what  type  of  photos  you  are  looking  for;  studio  portraits  or  outdoors  on  location?    If  your  deci-sion  is  for  an  on  location  shoot,  think  about  places  your  family  absolutely  LOVES.    The  beach?    Your  backyard?    A  park,  farm,  or  hiking  trail?    Even  your  own  kitchen,  making  zucchini  bread  from  those  zucchini  in  the  garden?    Wherever  it  is,  think  of  where  your  family  has  the  most  FUN.    

    -If  you’re  stumped  on  locations,  don’t  worry:    I’ve  got  plenty  of  suggestions  up  my  sleeve  to  help  you  out!

    -When  choosing  outfits  refer  to  the  “What  to  Wear”  portion  of  this  guide  and  remember  it’s  likely  you  can  choose  right  from  your  own  closets!

    -Stressed  about  convincing  your  child  (or  husband)  to  give  the  perfect  smile?    Don’t  worry,  I’ve  got  it  cov-ered.    The  best  thing  you  can  do  to  help  make  this  happen  is  to  relax  and  let  me  handle  it.    I  pride  myself  on  taking  the  time  to  get  to  know  your  family,  to  play  and  have  fun.    During  this  time  I’ll  grab  the  fun  candids  but  also  convince  your  child  that  they  like  me  enough  to  smile  for  those  perfect  shots!  

    -Keep  the  bribery  at  home!    Most  likely  we  won’t  need  it  and  if  we  do,  I  come  prepared!    I’ll  have  a  special  something  for  each  of  your  children  for  after  the  session...if  they’re  not  cooperating  that  usually  does  the  trick!

After  the  Session     You’ve  had  your  session  and  you  loved  it....what’s  next?    Your  Session  Premiere  Night!    Your  Session  

Premiere  Night  will  be  two  weeks  after  your  shoot  (we’ll  book  it  at  the  same  time  we  book  your  photo  

shoot).    You’ll  get  to  see  your  photos  for  the  first  time!    Session  Premiere  Nights  are  great!

   

    On  Session  Premiere  Night  I’ll  come  to  you  (no  babysitter  needed!)  and  I’ll  even  bring  treats.    We’ll  

start  by  watching  a  slideshow  of  the  images  from  your  session.    

        After  you’ve  experienced  the  slideshow  you’ll  have  some  time  to  go  through  all  of  your  images  and  

take  a  look  at  all  of  the  product  samples.    Seeing  everything  in  person  will  really  give  you  a  sense  of  

what  products  are  most  important  to  you.    I  love  all  the  products  I  offer  but  a  couple  of  my  favorites  are  

standout  prints  and  image  boxes.    

    You’ll  have  plently  of  time  to  ask  any  questions,  to  hold  up  images  to  different  walls  in  your  own  

home  to  see  what  sizes  will  work  best  and  enough  time  to  pick  out  your  favorites.    

        The  collections  on  the  following  page  have  been  put  together  to  give  you  the  absolute  best  quality  

produtct  for  the  best  value.    Those  collections  are  available  at  Session  Premiere  Night  only.    No  need  to  

worry  if  the  products  in  the  offered  collections  don’t  fit  you’re  needs,  all  products  are  available  a  la  carte

        The  goal  of  Session  Premiere  Night  is  to  finalize  your  order  so  we  can  get  your  prints  and  products  

to  you  as  soon  as  possible.      To  help  make  this  stress  free  it’s  a  great  idea  to  take  a  look  through  all  of  

the  different  products  and  collections  so  you  can  go  into  Session  Premiere  Night  with  an  idea  of  what  

might  work  best  for  you.    Once  you’ve  seen  your  images  that  may  change  but  it’s  always  good  to  have  

an  idea  when  we  get  started!

        When  all  the  fun  of  the  Session  Premiere  Night  night  is  over,  you’ll  have  a  short  wait  before  you’ll  

have  those  images  in  your  hands!    Digital  files  purchased  will  be  made  available  within  24  hours  and  

you  can  expect  to  have  your  prints  and  products  in  your  home  within  2-4  weeks.    When  everything  is  

in  we’ll  schedule  a  time  that  I  can  hand  deliver  everything  to  make  sure  it  gets  there  safely!
