Spelling: How can I help at home?◻Use some of the strategies we just practised

at home◻Limit the number of words to five a week to

ensure success and enable deeper learning◻ Support your child learning spellings in

context, e.g. in a given sentence, generating sentences for each word, saying a sentence which include the focused word◻Talking about spelling and expectating the

correct application in writing once a word has been learned.
