Angelo “The Fisherman” Pelonia

Shown above is a group of 12 fisherman ( not all are shown) on their boat fishing for all of their families who are probably sitting at their hut sick and hungry for the food and medicine that the fisherman can not provide because of their small catches and cheap equiptment.

This is Angelo trying to sell his daily catch at the market. If the customers do not come soon then the fish will go bad in the intense heat and humidity of the Philippines, but if he HAD THE MONEY TO BUY BETTER EQUIPTMENT he might be able to preserve the fish to sell at later times.

These pictures are of the market and stalls the fish are sold in. Some fishermen like in the top two pictures work together catching and selling their catches so that they can split the profit and make more than the dirt they make alone.

A slightly larger than average fishing boat probably located somewhere that has extra money to loan to Angelo but decides that they are too great to actually lend money to someone in need
