The Annapurna Sanctuary Trek is a classic tea house trek into the heart of the High Himalaya.

Trekking between small mountain villages you climb through increasingly beautiful mountain

scenery before reaching Annapurna Base Camp in the Annapurna Sanctuary, where you will be

completely surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks swathed in snow, ice and glaciers.

Experience the classic Himalayan views including the famous Macchapucchre (The Fishtail

Mountain) and the Annapurna panorama from Poon Hill at dawn.

Our bespoke Annapurna Sanctuary treks are just for you. Your dedicated trekking crew of guides

and porters will tailor your trek around your groups needs, wishes and special interests.

The trek from Tikhe Dunga to Annapurna Base Camp offers spectacular mountain views and takes you on

a wonderful adventure through forests of bamboo, rhododendron and Nepalese culture. It’s a great trek for

those who want to experience the high mountains of the Himalaya in a reasonable timeframe and without

ascending to extreme altitudes associated with the Everest Region.

Your adventure begins with an overnight in the vibrant city of Kathmandu and then a transfer to the start of

your trek near Pokhara. Your 11 day (10 Night) trek begins just outside Pokhara and initially you climb

steeply to Ghorapani and Poon Hill before moving west and on to the Annapurna Base Camp via the

Macchapuchhre base camp. You return to Pokhara for the night returning to Kathmandu to travel home.

 Seeing the dawn panorama of the Annapurna Himalayan from Poon Hill.  Experiencing he Annapurna Range from the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary.  Outstanding accommodation, guides and trekking crew.  Discovering the peace of Pokhara and bustle of Kathmandu.

off the beaten track and you will discover the beauty of the landscape, the warmth of her people and the

rich culture of this spectacular land. You don’t join a scheduled group but rather have your own guide and
