you aren’t left behind. There will be no refunds if you do not make it on time. 3. Parents, please be on time to pick up your students (around 11:15/11:30pm). If your child has a
cell phone, I will give them a better estimated arrival time (per the GPS) when we leave the theatre so they can call/text you with an update. I will also send an ETA via Remind101 when we leave the theatre. If you haven’t already signed up for updates, do it now! Instructions are attached.
4. Students are allowed to bring a cell phone with them to communicate with parents while we’re en route, but phones cannot be on at any time while we are in the theatre.
5. Students, dress appropriately! See guidelines below.
HOW TO DRESS It is very important to dress appropriately at the theatre, to show our respect for all the actors and crew who have worked so hard to put on a high quality show for us. It’s part of the theatre etiquette we work on in class. So…. What to wear, what to wear?? Things to think about:
In adult terms, we would say to dress “business casual” at the least (which is what Ms. Wortham and Mr. Browns wear every day except on casual Fridays). Ms. Wortham almost always wears a dress to the theatre.
Go to church? Wear something you would wear to church.
NO JEANS, no tennis shoes
Boys example: button down shirt or polo, khakis, dress shoes. Tie optional.
Girls example: skirt or dress (nothing too formal), or nice dress pants with nice little heels or sandals
Please follow PISD dress code standards. We want to be a positive reflection of our school!
