ANNUAL REPORT FOR ST. KABIR NAVRANGPURA 2020-21

In the new normal of online schooling during the pandemic, we at St. Kabir Navrangpura, lef no

stones unturned to make our students enjoy all the annual celebratons and events from the

comfort of their homes. We may not be in the same physical space but are connected digitally

with our students.

ACTIVITIES/EVENTS

YOGA ACTIVITY

During the Pandemic our school took the initatve to help students in their overall physical,

emotonal, and mental well-being while being at home. aarious online classes on yoga were

organized for the students to contnue eeercise everyday from homes. World Yoga day was also

celebrated virtually by the students with full enthusiasm.

MASTER CHEF ACTIVITY

A virtual Master Chef Actvity was conducted for the students of primary secton. The aim of this

fun-flled actvity was to motvate children to make healthy food choices.

JUST A MINUTE ACTIVITY

aarious fun games like cup stack, fun with balloons, clip game, pyramid building with playing

cards etc. were planned as per the standards and were played with full enthusiasm

GRATITUDE ACTIVITY

Eepressing Grattude is an important part of our life. Grattude actvity is practced by our

students on a daily basis.

GOOD HEALTH AND WELL BEING ACTIVITY

A special virtual assembly was conducted for the students of primary secton.

The main idea of the whole actvity was to encourage students to eat healthy as good health

creates a healthy mind.

PLANTATION ACTIVITY

Children planted saplings in the kitchen and terrace gardens eeplaining the

importance of plants in our lives.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY

The frst ever virtual Investture Ceremony was held by for the academic year 2020-’21.

The school council was selected afer the democratc process in which the students

had to go through online process of votng and electon to get selected for the prestgious

student’s council body.

CHRISTRMAS

airtual Christmas Celebratons were planned for all the students to spread joy and merriment all

around.

NAVRATRI

Online celebraton of Navratri was enjoyed by both the students and their loving

parents virtually. Children atred in traditonal dresses danced to the tunes of folk

garba beats at their homes.

JANMASHTMI

Students celebrated the festval by decoratng or making the cradle to welcome

Lord Krishna.

TEACHERS DAY

This year Teachers’ Day was celebrated on the online platorm with great zeal wherein the

students from diferent standards eepressed their grattude through wonderful speeches,

melodious songs and by dressing up like their favorite teacher.

NEW YEAR

To welcome New Year 2021 and to infuse joy and merriment to the festve tme, a special virtual assembly was conducted by Grade aIII students of on 31st December 2020

MAHA SHIVRATRI To feel the verve of the festval, children of Grade a presented a special virtual assembly on

Maha Shivaratri.

On the 151th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, a great celebraton washeld in the in the form of special virtual assembly by the students.

INDEPENDENCE DAY Students across the school focked together virtually to celebrate Independence Day with zeal

and eecitement. Celebraton was done with theme “AatmaNirbhar Bharat”.

REPUBLIC DAY The 72nd Republic Day was celebrated by the students in form of special virtual assemblies conducted with immense passion and enthusiasm.

As students were missing their fun flled trips with their teachers and classmates, a virtual tour

was organized by Khoj Museum in collaboraton with St. Kabir School,for the students of Std.III to

aIII.

ART COMPETITION To eeplore the creatve potental in the young minds of our children, a virtual Inter-House Art

Competton was conducted.

MONO ACTING Inter-House Mono Act competton was conducted for the students of grade 1-5 on virtual

platorm.

A virtual Inter-House Declamaton competton was organized for the students of grades

POEM RECITATION Inter class Hindi poetry recitaton competton was organized for the students of grades I to IX.

JUNIOR AND SENIOR QUIZTo eeplore and improvise general knowledge of our enthusiastc Kabirians,a virtual inter house quiz competton was conducted for the students.

INTERBRANCH POEM COMPETITION – SPANDAN

SPANDAN- an online inter-branch poem competton was organized the School

management which was also streamed live on YouTube channel. NAa was declared as

2. Under aideo category Kairav Sanghvi of Std aI grabbed 1st positon, Radhika

Rawal grabbed 2nd positon and Hia Bhimani of Std aIII grabbed 3rd positon.

St. Kabir, Navrangapura partcipated in diferent events and grabbed prizes

in 12 diferent categories. It was a very proud moment for the school.

KABIRIANS EXCEL IN “OUR CITY, OUR CHALLENGES 2020-21”Bala Janaagraha is a uniquely designed citzenship educaton programme that is aimed at empowering children with the knowledge, skills and values necessary to develop a deep sense of ownership and responsibility towards their society. A team of 40-45 students from grade aI-aIII partcipated .There were total 898 teams from 245 schools across India. Afer successfully crossing 3 evaluaton stages 4 teams from our school emerged as runners-up and 5 teams proudly stood as Winners.

TANYA MALAV THAKORE EXCELLED IN STD. X EXAMINATION.

Tanya Thakore made the school proud by scoring 94.2% in Std. X under Gujarat Secondary

Education Board 2020-21. She waas also awaarded waith Certiifcate oo EEcellence along waith

price money 0o Rs. 10000 orom IOCL.

St. Kabir School was awarded TIMES GUJARAT ICON 2020 Award for its contributon in the

category of Innovaton in Digital teaching.
