At this meeting, the Foundation officers will report on the activities from the past year and the financial position of the foundation. 2018 STERLING EVENING DINNER & AUCTION Enrolling for Fall 2018 Enrollment for Christ Our Rock for the 2018- 2019 school year continues its positive trend. The school has already received several applications for the freshman class. Our second Open House for prospective students is scheduled for Wednesday, January 24 6:30pm-8:00pm. Tours begin at 6:30pm followed by a short presentation at 7:00pm. That evening families will be able to visit the school, tour the facilities, and talk with current students, parents, and teachers. Transfer students and potential freshman of all ages are encouraged to attend. Christ Our Rock is able to accept applications for transfer students at any time during the school year, not just at the start of the semester. Interested families not able to attend are encouraged to contact the school office at 226-3315 to receive an information packet and set an appointment to visit the school. Things are underway for our annual auction to be held on Saturday, March 17. Mark your calendars to reserve the date as we are planning another entertaining event which is important to the fund raising efforts of CORLHS. We are expecting 400 attendees bidding on 400 items in the silent and live auctions. There is always something for everyone. There are three basic ways which you can help with the auction. First, we need items or services to auction off. Past auctions have included many unique items such as, home baked goodies, crafts, quilts, trips, dinners, gift certificates, memorabilia, furniture, electronics, loads of firewood, and tickets to events. If you don't have an item to donate please consider being a financial sponsor. Second, volunteer your time serving on a committee for auction planning, item acquisition, ticket and book design, or event staffing. And third, plan to attend and bid high on your favorite items. The Sterling Evening has become a major event for CORLHS. Not only does it serve as our largest fund raiser, but people look forward to the evening of entertainment. Guests see the Sterling Evening as a fun way to support COR. They are more actively bidding which makes the auction atmosphere more thrilling. Just wait and see who bids highest for the first table to dine. Invitations will be mailed in February. Contact the school office for more information on ways to help, donating auction items, or sponsorship opportunities. ADDITIONAL WEBSITE We have created an additional website for you to keep up with our athletics and activities that is kept up to date more often. We are currently working on making it more mobile friendly but the desktop edition works great. Be sure to check it out at www.corstallions.org.

Coming off a disappointing 6th place finish at the Lebanon Christmas Tournament to end 2017, the Lady Stallions dominated once again in the Midland Trail Conference Tournament. Two wins led to defending the title as CORLHS rolled Wayne City 58-17 and ran past Woodlawn in the Championship game 54-20. Caroline Boehne was named tournament MVP, and joining her on with all tournament honors were teammates Georgia Agan and Macie Martin. CORLHS also defeated their annual matchup with Springfield Lutheran 55-41. Before that game Georgia Agan was recognized for scoring her 1000 point at Lebanon against Columbia on Dec. 29. Both Agan and Caroline Boehne recieved all Tournament honors at Lebanon. CORLHS record stands at 14-5. Congrats ladies and good luck!
