A Apolo Tubulars foi criada a partir de uma joint venture entre Apolo Tubos e Equipamentos, subsidiária do Grupo Peixoto de Castro, e United States Steel, provedora de tecnologia e produtos tubulares que acumula mais de 100 anos de experiência.

É uma empresa focada na produção de tubos de aço de alta qualidade, soldados por indução de alta frequência (HFIW), para a indústria de petróleo, gás e outros segmentos do setor de energia.

Atualmente, a planta industrial da Apolo Tubulars tem capacidade instalada para produzir 120 mil toneladas de tubos por ano, distribuídos em produção e exploração (OCTG) e produção de tubos de condução (line pipe).

Com a cooperação técnica da United States Steel (USS) e a complementação da sua planta industrial, a empresa atende aos mais diversos consumidores por meio de uma extensa e bem desenvolvida rede de distribuição, inclusive no mercado norte-americano, onde a USS é a representante exclusiva dos produtos da Apolo Tubulars.

Apolo Tubulars was created through a joint venture between Apolo Tubos e Equipamentos, a subsidiary of Brazil's Peixoto de Castro Group and United States Steel, a supplier of technology and tubular products with more than 100 years of experience.

Is a company focused on producing high quality steel pipes making use of the high-frequency induction welding (HFIW) process, designed for the oil, gas and other energy industry segments.

Currently, Apolo Tubulars industrial plant has installed capacity to manufacture 120,000 tons of tubular products per year, between production and exploration (oil country tubular goods - OCTG) and line pipe.

With technical cooperation from United States Steel (USS) together with the expansion of its industrial plant, the company now is able to meet the needs of many types of consumers through an extensive and well-developed distributionnetwork, including in the U.S. market, where USS is the exclusive representative of Apolo Tubular`s products.
