APPLIED WISDOMTRAININGS

"The World is as you are,not as it appears"

Page 4: Applied Wisdom Trainings -

“TEJ GYAN FOUNDATION is a unique enlightening endeavor which designs and delivers transformational programs globally. TGF is a school of thought, active for the past 17 years. TGF is a treasure trove of hundreds of books and CDs and thousands of thought provoking conversations on life, lakshya and liberation the “The Applied Wisdom Training’s” are a corporatization of these gems.

TGF training programs are called as The Applied Wisdom Training’s which are actually myth-busters, finding the missing links, challenging the wrong beliefs and breaking the myths is the modus operandi. The food for thought is packed and delivered through various instructions, interactions, and intervention. The intention is of creating new possibilities in untapped areas beyond routine training’s. It's a break away from the routine communications, leadership or productivity workshops. A venture into core values of human beings viz love, harmony and happiness which enables individuals to strike the right balance in personal and professional life. For e.g. you can teach an executive presentation skills. Still better transform his fearful attitude. But best would be to make him dissolves his beliefs that limit him and get him to see the wisdom that all humans are equal and unique. This would bring about fabulous results in his presentation skills and that too permanently.

Wisdom is experienced knowledge. Its knowing your self or your source, opening new possibilities and operating from higher levels of consciousness. It is that understanding which helps us do a self encounter of our limiting beliefs, helps in the self enquiry of our vision and support us in the self expression of our feelings.

Why we are doing what we are doing? What is the aim?

Which are the stations in the journey of life?

What are the patterns of the mind and how to overcome them?

Understand the science of thoughts and learn self mastery.

How to maintain focus on the present and break away from negative thoughts.

Enquiry is used strongly for something to be done in the outer world, this helps us gather information, analyze or confirm things and take decisions. This leads to formation of principles, ideas and beliefs systems. When we turn the focus within and start the self enquiry process these beliefs, principles and ideas seem to be falling apart. But till it is done they all seem very strong and we tend to cling to them even in the face of testing evidence. Till the self enquiry is done and the reality surfaces we live in the illusion of our belief systems and live life with loads of doubt and discomfort.

It is absolutely essential to decide your aim of life. The moment you decide the aim of your life, not only your future is altered, your present too is transformed. The tasks in your hands at present take on a different shape. Having decided your aim, your priorities change. Man's aim is self transformation. An individual may have many aims. He gets joy and satisfaction only after achieving his aim. However, what he is unaware is that hidden behind every aim, the aim of self transformation is the chief aim. Or what can be termed as 'Aim Beyond Aim'.

STEP ONE SELF ENQUIRY

Break away from negative thoughts

STEP TWO UNDERSTANDING

Rise above the limiting beliefs

What are the belief systems?

How things get stored in our memory and what makes us biased in our opinions?

How to go beyond beliefs and concepts?

How to bridge the gap between reality and beliefs?

A belief is an assumed truth; a superstition is a blind truth. We develop our understanding of the outer world based on our senses which turn into experiences, these experiences, thoughts events and emotion get stored in our memory. And the memory of the inner world than becomes our world, but the mental map of the world is not the world. So each one is carrying and responding from a different world, if it doesn't fit into our system we tend to reject it and if it does the belief becomes reinforced into a conviction. Most basics of all the beliefs are I know…and I am right. We tend to believe that what ever is right in the world I can understand all of it, and what ever we don't understand we think that its is not right. All the arguments fights and stress are nothing but a clash of the worlds, as the world is not as seems each one sees it in a different light. So we can conclude that everything is a belief, if that is so than what is the Reality?

We usually belief things will happen as they have previously happened, because it is useful to do so. As such, this means that everything is a belief.

The tricky question now is 'How do we know that something is always true?' Just because in our experience it has always been true, it doesn't necessarily follow that it will continue to be true.

This is one reason why people from different countries have difficulty understanding one another. The beliefs are built into the language and the culture.

Thus, everything is a game of beliefs -- including this statement.

Understanding beliefs as a belief is real understanding the problem is when we assume a belief to be a reality. There are good and bad beliefs they help us to live life and understand the world around us. So from an understanding point of view

STEP THREE ACCEPTANCE

Overcome negative emotions

What is the best way to maintain stability in unpredictable events?

How do we gather stress and what is the best stress-buster?

Where are we in the consciousness elevation structure?

How to reach the next level in the consciousness series?

As you progress towards higher levels of life through self inquiry to attain the aim beyond aim of your life, remember that “life” has been given to you only for the purpose of growth. Growing in consciousness and moving to the next level. Every incident in life can take you forward or backward. But it's important to maintain stability and the best way to do that is to use every incident of life to break out of the frame with which we perceive the world.

But when negative incidents happen in our lives we tend to forget the aim we shrink and resist and play the blame game. We say this shouldn't happen…why me…what if…I cannot accept this….and so on the struggle to come out of it begins. But we don't understand the way out. And get into the vicious circle of resistance and negativity. This way the incidence stays for long, we forget the aim was to rise above the incidence and get stuck with the process.

Acceptance is the first step in getting out of the vicious circle, only then we can think clear, find a solution and enjoy the process. This way we can understand the aim and the aim beyond aim can be understood.

AIM

Like the game of snakes and ladders, man thinks his aim is only to climb the ladder and avoid the snakes, but the ultimate aim is to reach home. Extending the analogy to life this game teaches us lessons if we don't learn them they keep repeating. So the Aim beyond Aim is a three step process self enquiry, self acceptance and self understanding.

Introduction

Have you been in stress for long and have tried everything and nothing seems to be working. Maybe, you have tried yoga or relaxation, music or games and nothing seems to be working. There are five root causes of stress.

How the mind perceives things causes or reduces stress.

A simple example is that of a porter (coolie) and a weightlifter. Both perform the same activity of lifting the weights, but one is stressed and the other enjoys.

Stress cannot be quick fixed as it gets suppressed and comes back strongly. Many recommend dancing or walking or playing, but the root cause is the mind who perceives everything.

The permanent solution is to understand the source of stress and how it works.

We need shifting's not solutions in dealing with stress

There are Five facets of stress.

What are your earliest money memories?

What do your remember about how your parents felt about money?

What did you decide about money based on your childhood experiences?

Is money the means to an end or an end in itself?

People often collapse the money behaviors of their parents with other behaviors that got tied to them. For example, let's say your parents were inconsistent in how they gave you money. Maybe sometimes you got money for errands, and sometimes you didn't. What your kid brain may have decided about money is that it's not predictable. In that case you may still be operating as if money itself is not predictable. The truth, however, is that how your parents gave you money was unpredictable, not money itself.

Out of many of my personal childhood beliefs about money says that it's difficult to earn money in order to make money you have to do plenty of hard work. My mother, always use to say we never have enough money, we can't afford it, and there is a crunch as this is a month end and so on…… My father worked harder and harder to get the money, part time business and all that he could possibly do…. So there was always tension, fear and fights. So my belief system about money was that it's never enough, and money is the root cause of all evil, it cuts the love, and it's not easy and so on…. What is really true is that my parents hadn't any understanding about money or their relationship with money. Money was not the cause of fights, fear or tension their relationship was.

SOur beliefs about money affect our lives every day. T h e y c o l o u r o u r relationships. They shape our homes and they influence our careers. We relate to money based on the attitudes and beliefs we have about it. M a n y o f t h o s e w e r e developed by our kid brain long back but surprisingly they still influence a large part of our lives. Often these

beliefs don't really serve us well. One reason for this is how we actually acquired those beliefs.

Since actually talking about money is a taboo in our culture, we learn about money based solely on observation, and those observations were made from the perspective of our little kid eyes. Your kid brain makes up its mind and forms its opinion based on what it sees and what makes sense to it. So let's explore what your programming about money was and what it means to you.

MODULE ONE

MODULE TWO

How do your money beliefs from childhood still show up in your life?

Are they tied to a behavior that is not really about money?

If you could separate your money beliefs from the “other” part, what would be possible?

How could your relationship with money be different based on this new way of looking at your belief?

Is there a money problem or an emotion problem?

The other big part about money that influences our everyday behavior is the language we use for money. Visualize your self paying 1000 rupees for petrol, or paying 1200 in the restaurant, or spending money on fire crackers during festivals, or paying taxes, or mobile bill…in all the situations our language says, its gone, I blew it up, its gone up in smoke, or down the drain, or money comes and money goes or money speaks but always says good bye ….. We always focus on what is gone never on what we got. There fore money never stays or there

MODULE THREE

Can we bring the money flow in our lives by changing our language?

Is there a money mantra or symbol we can use to create wealth?

Is there enough money for me in my life?

Secrets of wealth management?

How can we create more than we have? There is actually no money problem it's only an idea problem. Money flows behind creative ideas. Think of any idea that can make money or save money. Find a brilliant business idea or a brilliant problem, solve the problem and you have an idea right behind it.

MODULE FOUR

How to generate creative ideas?

What are our beliefs' about creativity?

How to test if the idea is workable, economical, and saleable?

Let these ideas spark a new relationship between you and your money. The first step to shifting any belief or behavior is becoming conscious of the actual belief. Once you become aware of the belief you can actually start choosing whether or not to perpetuate it. If you would like a partner in this process of improving how you relate to your money, give me a call. We will help you dissolve the money beliefs and build a great relationship with money. Makes sense doesn't it?

We spend approximately a quarter of our adult lives in our workplace environment. Given the significant life investment we have in our workplace, it is important that it be a place where employees experience professional success, personal balance and opportunities for choices and resources.

In this world of increasing demands on our time and energy, there is a challenge of balancing daily responsibilities between work and home.

The challenge of integrating work and family life is part of everyday reality for the majority of families.

For many these challenges are experienced as:

An increasing time squeeze

Many working adults in families have difficulty providing the ordinary daily attention needed for the well-being of family members, including themselves.

Family pressures

Families face difficulties, since parents at work must often leave children alone, with serious consequences for their safety, health, learning, supervision, and nurturance.

Spill over of stress to other social and community institutions

Family stresses inevitably spill over into places not designed nor sufficiently funded to deal with them-schools, social service agencies, police, courts, and religious institutions - creating institutional overload and additional stress for their employees.

High costs of turnover, absenteeism, and lost investments in human resources

Employers with workforce facing difficulties at home experience the costs of losing valued workers as workers seek more accommodating arrangements or even leave the workforce altogether.

Employers, families, employee all have roles to play in integrating work and family life, but none of them can solve this problem acting alone. Balance connotes equality - that is, what you give to work must equal (or balance) what you give to family. Effective work and family integration would mean

that work organizations would build on this notion of integration rather than on the presumed separation of work from family.

The FAMILY HARMONY RETREAT designed by Tej Gyan Foundation works on the premise that 'work life is an extension of personal life.' Any imbalance at home will directly be responsible for the fall in productivity of the employee - the relations at home will affect the relations at work. Unless the family members are not committed to the employees' work life, none of the parties will be able to harvest true effectiveness. So personal productivity and effectiveness is not possible unless every employee and its family members believe that

“The organization is my big home and home is my small organization.”

Introduction

WHY FAMILY RETREAT?

Any imbalance at home will adversely affect the productivity of the employee

Introduction

Are negative or bad things happening to you and you can't figure out why? Are there good things in your life and you want them to stay, but you don't know how? Are you attracting things and people to you that you wish you weren't? Are all hard working people rich? How can i be at ease with myself?

Here are seven principles that you will want to pay attention to. These are natural principles as basic as gravity, and, if you use them in the right way, can bring power, wealth and success. If you understand the synopsis given below and train yourself accordingly, you will no longer be able to say, "I don't know why these things happen to me."

These are principles that should be respected. If you break them, you pay a price. If you know them, obey them, and use them, your success will be assured. If you are unaware of these principles, you will struggle and there will be no true direction in life. When we don't know what we are doing, we doubt our reasons for doing it. You can't be integrated when you continually harbor a niggling doubt. These seven principles are pointers whether something goes right or wrong, you can trace it back to these principles.

There is no way to know one without the other.

Internally both are together.
