Apprenticeships involve a combination of learning in the workplace from qualified tradespersons, experienced trainers, and off-site training at TAFE.

Apprenticeships can be full-time, part-time or school-based. Apprenticeships combine work in a real workplace, with structured training, that lead to a nationally recognised qualification.

In June 2014, Liebherr-Australia successfully launched the Apprentice Educational Rotation Program.

The purpose of this program is to develop the apprentice’s basic trade skills and knowledge by working on Liebherr components in the Liebherr-Australia Remanufacturing Centre in Adelaide.
