God cares about you!

That’s another reason why

He has given us the Sab-

bath. That’s the only rea-

son he gave us his SON.

Anyway! We have

SO MUCH TO DO this

month. This is our sixth

newsletter and it feels like

many of you are still out of

the loop. Let’s change that!

This issue is jam-

packed with information.

That means that this

month, you should get un-

“Six days shall though labor

and do all thy work…” Exodus

20 shares with us the ten

commandments. There we

see the character of God,

(though we may not under-

stand it). We have so much to

learn about who God is and

how He is

a daily

part of our

lives!

Notice the

Bible

CLEARLY

MEN-

TIONS

that you will have “work and

labor”. I think it is safe to draw

the conclusion that GOD

CARES ABOUT THAT AS-

PECT OF YOUR

LIFE. So, don’t

just show up to

church, (or not),

and assume that

the Sabbath is

the only time

God wants to

care about you. Jesus

Christ lived a life of ser-

vice. Not just once a

week. It is imperative

that we put ourselves

aside and become

aware of what hope and

marvelous power we

are a part of. That

doesn’t happen by ar-

guing “tradition vs. comfort”

by yourself or with other peo-

ple who don’t encourage your

journey.

Can you imagine what the

early church must have

thought? Imagine you, wait-

ing through the darkness after

hearing/seeing the events of

Friday.

Would you be the

Christian who was secure in

their faith and asking yourself,

“When is He going to wake!?

At 6am or 10 when?! I’m so

excited!!!”

Or would you be the

Christian who would ask, “Is

Jesus really the Christ? I

mean He is, but I hope this

works… I’ve believed this my

entire life..”

Or, would you be

Christian at all? “This is

seriously too complicated. If

he wakes up, I’ll contem-

plate discipleship. For now, I

need a break..”

You know the out-

come. Which Christian are

you today?

Easter Sunday April 8, 2012 Jesus Christ is Risen. Live like you believe it.

Here’s the Deal:

We have two HUGE obli-

gations that fell in the same month.

WE can do this, and we will. WE

just have to stay focused. Here is

the deadline calendar. STICK TO

IT. The success you will feel after

this hard work will be INSUR-

MOUNTABLE

I promise, you are going to feel on

top of the world after this.

IF YOU FEEL LIKE THIS DOES

NOT PERTAIN TO YOU… don’t

continue to feel that way. There

are plenty of things that are still

able to be done. Just ask. You

matter. Every bit of effort takes

the load off of those who are do-

ing a lot.

REALISTIC PEP TALK

Why yes, eat your fiber and drink

your water. …

BUT COME TO PRACTICES.

The more prepared you are, the

less stress it is for yourself/

everyone. Some of you have com-

mitted 1/3 of the way, others 1/2.

Let’s jump in!

It is quite similar to swimming

in a pool. You contemplate getting

in, test it and it’s cold, and then

jump in and get shocked, but after

a few minutes, you’re having the

time of your life. Just do it. Come

out “to the deep end”.

PRACTICES ARE EVERY FRIDAY

7:30PM AND SABBATH 1. in the

Sanctuary IMMEDIATELY after

church. 2. 6:30 pm at the BILLINGY

HOUSE.

The Adults of

our church do support

our youth! However,

they havephysically

and fiscally decided

to support our youth

by

A.) Purchasing T-

shirts as a fundraiser

for us

B.) Going to the quiz

-a-rama

C.) Participating in the Pray-

er Warriors Project

And D.) The church has of-

fered there assistance by of-

fering to have a “Mock Quiz-a-

rama”. This year, the adults

are studying the same chap-

ters those participating in the

Quiz-a-rama will be.

They will be contact-

ing the youth who have decid-

Aladdin had it right…

However, his motivation

was a little different :)

When becoming

part of church, you take

one step at a time. First

you come, then get in-

volved, then feel apart.

Young people,

we aren’t isolated to the

events that come only from

the Youth Department. The

Men’s Ministry, Women’s Min-

istry, Health Ministry, etc. all

have great ways for you expe-

rience the relevance of God

and feel like part of the family!

There was a busi-

ness meeting Saturday Eve

the 8th. Members (of all ages)

successfully added a YOUNG

ADULT class. Now keep in

mind, this is separate from the

Collegiate Class. Currently,

the Collegiate and Youth clas-

ses end up mingling, but in all

technicalities, there are three:

Youth, Collegiate, Young

Adult.

None the less, re-

gardless of what age you are,

invite someone to hear the

truth. Evangelism,

remember, starts

with you! Check for

all our events!

Please

come on time. And

we NEED musi-

cians. Let’s dream

big and get our mu-

sic running!

Our privileges of consuming a

small delectable breakfast in

the Youth Room have been

revoked. Instead of being

disheartened, LET’S DO IT

BIG!

Breakfast will be 9:15-9:30

ONLY in the BACK OF THE

PARKINGLOT. Under the

Easy up. It’s legit. So come

through.

In other Big NEWS, we have

ed to participate and come April

22nd and April 28th, they will be

participating in the Mock Quiz-a-

rama. It will be exactly what it

sounds like.. A “mock quiz-a-

rama”.

Side note: if you would like to

purchase a t-shirt or hoodie

(hoodies are for youth only).. Then

you need to email the youth de-

partment. You can email the

were allowed to attend. It is here

that your comments and concerns

should be voiced and heard.

Don’t wait to take the

initiative to get involved. You don’t

have to and won’t understand

everything before you delve in.

Just do it!

Don’t forget our website:http://

In this Easter season, we often get caught up with the best dramas, eggs, and services. REMEMBER THAT A RELATIONSHIP

WITH GOD IS ABOUT BEING MEANT FOR A PURPOSE. NOT ENTERTAINMENT. At Rancho Cucamonga SDA, we are not

trying to entertain you. If the way you are being equipped is entertaining, GREAT! But if you are looking for fireworks, you have

come for the wrong purpose. Reading through some of Ellen White’s writings, this thought was brought up: Would you really

want to be caught in the club when Jesus came back? Or how about doing various other activities (*cough). Let’s be real, the

world truly does seem entertaining. But since we’re being real, the God who gave you the desire to be engaged will not leave you

empty. You just have to commit fully to what His plan for your life is. Jesus ‘ Death on the cross and ministry wasn’t boring. The

truth is, If you’re bored , you are probably sitting on the fence. Trust GOD. You are MEANT for something. -Jeremiah 29:11-13.
