The company focuses its trading practices towards the environment and the protection of social and ethics values of the forests with the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), ISO 14001 certifications. Besides improving its own business management and contributing to the protection of the environment, the company has adopted a more responsible behaviour and has concretely helped in a rational use of the wealth of the world. The Company engages itself in the use of ecological water based paints. Aran Cucine has set up a diligent waste col-lection within its own ware-houses. Thanks to this sys-tem, 90% of waste is used in recycling activities. “The Sustainable Development guarantees present gener-ations needs without com-promising the needs of the future ones” (WCED, 1987).
