using the the following link or after Activating ArcGIS
Authorization Code (See page 9)

This site CANNOT be seen on campus if you are connected to the Guest wireless network. You must be logged into
UNF‐Secure or off campus.
Click on each link to download to your computer. Click
save to download.

Click to 7‐Zip on the download site or browse to:

Click the Download Now! button for Windows 7 32‐bit version
or select the 7‐Zip 9.20 (64‐Bit) for 64‐bit.
Note:
Use the 32‐bit version if you are unsure of which version of
windows you are using. You can also go to your Control panel /
System to see which version you have installed.
Double‐click the 7‐Zip setup file

Click Next. Click off all check boxes and then click Next.
Click Next. Click Next.
Click Next Click Install.

Click Finish. Click Finish.

ExtractingfilesfromArcGISISOusing7‐Zip
Open 7‐Zip by going to Start / All‐Programs / 7‐Zip / 7‐Zip File Manager
Browse to the download location of the ArcGIS ISO files
Select ArcGIS_Desktop_101_129026.iso and then click
the Extract icon on the menu bar.
Change the Extract to location as needed and then
click OK.

Visit http://www.esri.com/EducationalEdition
Sign‐up for an ESRI Global Account or Login with your
Exisitng account
Enter the authorization number provided to you by your
instructor. Click the Activate ArcGIS button.
Click ArcGIS 10.1 for Desktop button.

Make a note of the authorization number: EVAXXXXXXXXXX
An email will also be sent to the email address assigned to to
ESRI Global Account.

Browse to the ArGIS_Desktop_101_129026 folder and
Double‐Click ESRI application.
Click the Setop link next to ArcGIS for Desktop. Click Next
Accept the license Agreement and click Next. Select Complete and click Next.

Click Next. Click Next.
Click Next. Click Finish.

Select Advanced (ArcInfo) Single Use and click the Select I have installed my software and need to
Authorize Now button. Authorize it and click Next.
Select Authorize with ESRI now using the Internet
and then select Next. Enter your info and click Next.

Enter info and click Next. Enter authorization number and click Next.
Select I have authorization number(s) to authorize
one or more extensions . Click next to each extionsion
and enter the same authorization number used above
and then click Next. Click Finish.

Select Availability in the ArcGIS Administrator to verify license is working and
then click OK
Note:
You can access the ArGIS Administrator
from Start / All Programs / ArcGIS / ArcGIS Administrator

Extract the ArcGIS_Desktop_Tutorial_Data_101_129030
Browse to the ArcGIS_Desktop_Tutorial_Data_101_129030
folder and Double‐Click Setup application.
Click Nect. Accept the license Agreement and click Next.

Click Open. Click Next.
Click Finish.
